Wilder is not getting any younger and he ALMOST had his dream run stopped as he lost to Fury but got a "lucky" draw , the AJ fight will not always be the biggest fight of the HW division as it is now , if he misses the train he wont see it again.
Hope to see this fight but i reckon it might never happen

i cant stand this marination crap, oh maybe next year i can get more and so on, where does it end? Wilder by most accounts is lucky to even have a belt now and thats only because he fought fury in the states, anywhere else and he has an L on his record

Just watch the interview, wilder looks **** scared when asked about it and can't even answer the question. Finkle has to tell him to shut up. Enough said.

And with no language in the deal guaranteeing the fight would be next, having a date and venue become important. Hearn said he'd send a date by Friday. Friday rolled around and Hearn said the date was April 2019.

You have no idea what any of them earned, so that's a great fact check.

PBC's business plan doesn't depend on maintaining the PPV model.

You can easily flip your script. Hearn's entire business plan depends on launching a streaming model. To the point where he actively instructed Joshua to turn down 80 million-100 million last year for a two fight deal, because if he accepted, DAZN may have been irreparably compromised.

There was language in the contract stating the fight was next. Hearn confirmed this and Finkels new complaint, was "no date, no venue"

April 2019 is less ambiguous than when Wilder and Fury signed a contract August 2018, with the fight date being either November or December and a venue yet to be confirmed. The excuses need to stop, its just facilitating all the ducking.

The only reason Wilder’s value increased is because of the wbc belt and the fury fight, not necessarily because of the value wilder himself holds. He’s proven he’s not worth more than 15m, because he’s never been paid that amount before.
The fact that the offer tripled over the past year has no bearing whatsoever on his value in 6 months time.

What’s more, this 40m value is specifically tied to a Joshua fight on dazn, meaning NO OTHER broadcaster can pay that much for him, even based on a ppv, because dazn were offering more than whatever amount is to begin with.
So basically, he’s taking a risk that dazn will be able to pay him more for a Joshua fight in 6 months, after a trash high risk low reward breazelle fight.
What incentive does the guaranteed highest bidder have to raise their offer? Espn definitely won’t bid that high.

So wilder is essentially taking a huge gamble for real low possibility of dazn offering more money.
That’s ******. The cost-benefit analysis is extremely faulty.
I actually agree with you .However whether is fair or not Each fighter is synonymous with the other. You cant interview Joshua without talking about wilder and Vice versa. That Winkle is a leech I always knew it.

Dazn number one goal is to increase subscription if both Wilder and Joshua win their fights in emphatic style there will be a bigger demand for this fight . Wilder is already even with getting a draw is on the 40% mark. Hearn out of desperation to make the fight has even talked about upping the percentage. That sum could easily be 50 million by July

Signing a contract in August for a fight in November or December is very reasonable.

Signing a contract in June for a fight in April is ridiculous.

If the fight wasn't going to be next, Wilder wasn't going to accept 15 flat. Period. Which was smart since he's now turning down 40 and will likely end up with 50 or more.

Wilder's side wants to maximize the revenue. Joshua's side wants the fighters to make less. By putting the fight on DAZN instead of PPV or putting the fight in the UK instead of the US.

Hearn lies when he says he works for Joshua. That's not true. Hearn has Joshua under an exclusive promotional agreement. Joshua works for him. Hearn has no fiduciary duty to Joshua. Haymon and Finkel work for Wilder. Their job is to protect Wilder. Hearn has no legal obligation to protect Joshua.
