I know for a fact that Wilder wants the fight. However, it's people like Finkel, Espinoza, Haymon and Deas who believe there shouldn't be a ceiling on a fight of this magnitude.

They feel like it doesn't belong on an online sports streaming app but on linear television where you could reach many more homes. Nor should there be a double rematch flat-fee clause either.

There's no doubt the fight will do much better on Pay Per View than a monthly flat-fee streaming app.

This guy Wilder is betting on himself that he can become a ppv Star the way Floyd did. IDK if he can cause he has to beat AJ and/or Fury to be considered the best. But with them two guys being aligned with ESPN and DAZN I just don't know that them fights will ever get made....
