The issue isn't that someone doesn't want the fight, it's that they want the fight and to take most of the money and have broadcasting rights exclusively on the platform they're affiliated with. If it weren't for promoters and other assorted fatcats in suits this fight would have already happened six months ago.
Who here still thinks Wilder and his team wanted the fight?

Wilder and his team never wanted this fight. They are going to continue fighting bums claiming to be the best. There is absolutely no reason for them not to sign the contract. The info is public knowledge now and it’s obvious they never wanted the fight. He ain’t going to make $100 mil in three fights he won’t even make that in 10 fightsComment

Initially it looked to me like AJs team wanted to wait a little more before facing Wilder. I don't know if Wilder knew this and he was bluffing about wanting the fight, or if he just felt like that was the best time for him to make the fight, but I can't just say he never wanted the fight.
However, I can't comprehend how any prize fighter turns down those deals offered by DAZN.
Now, from a boxing fan's perspective, why would Wilder rather have me pay > $75 for his (expected) future showdown with AJ, when now I know I could have seen that fight as part of my DAZN subscription?Comment

He’ll make close if not more than 100MILLION in the unification with AJ. Haymon isn’t ******. You fools said he ducked when he turned down that lowball offer of 12million.
It’s a good thing you fools aren’t managers and nothing more than bloggers. I think you all are really just mad that he’s getting all these big offers when you said he wouldn’t. Can’t duck AJ when AJ is a free agent if he was signed to DAZN I’d agree with you. When AJ signs to DAZN that’s when Wilder will. Do you people think we are dumb in America?Comment

What tough guy act? Calling a coward a coward has nothing to do with being a tough guy. Calling a ****** a ****** doesn't either.
Take an IQ test and prove you're above 85.

He also just went from 12M to 100MILLION dollar offers.
So convenient of you to leave that part out.
He was just was offered a contract that was higher per fight contract than Mayweather had. Are you sure it isn’t you with the thick skull?Comment
