I agree with you that it looks this way, particularly absent any press to say otherwise. I just find it hard to believe that Wilder and his team (who don't get paid if he doesn't) gave up 10M+ for loyalty and a bet on himself.
Lastly, when was this agreed upon Joshua fight going to happen?Comment

Funny thing is fans won't admit AJ vs Wilder and Wilder vs Fury will be on PPV regardless of the platform in the USA. So if you're from the USA you rather the PPV be on a platform that already is with basic cable. We all know in the UK the fight will be on Skysports (AJ) and BT Sports (Fury).
The promoters are trying to buy their way in to control the US market but the issue is ESPN doesn't have a time slot for it on Saturday's (ESPN which is on basic cable) because of other sports and DAZN is not part of no cable subscriptions. At the end of the day I want to pay the least amount. DAZN and ESPN are smart offering flat rate fee payments.
Me as a fan if I have to pay for the fights keep it part of the networks with my basic cable packages.Comment

Promoter Lou DiBella has confirmed to BoxingScene.com that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) has thrown down an offer of $50 million to Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs).
Earlier today, Wilder and his team sent an offer to Eddie Hearn, promoter of Joshua, with a guarantee of $50 million for a high stakes unification in the fall.Comment
