With spence’s comments on the racial nature of how Golden Boy does business, his comments about calling out his people who were picking against him, and now these comments about the arrogance in how Garcia conducted himself and how the media was backing Garcia....it is clear Spence has recognized how the game of boxing is played in the USA. Mexicans and Mexican Americans will always be catered to in this sport. Now Spence understands why Roger Mayweather revelled in his “Mexican assassin” monicker...why Mayweather teased DLH about his Mexican heritage and why he at times showed up in sombreros like his uncle. Spence won’t have to deal with that much anymore from welterweight to jr middleweight but he definitely got exposure to that. I’m sure being booed in his hometown by others from his hometown because of a difference in race didn’t make him happy either. He clearly had a mean streak in that fight, almost like he wanted to punish Garcia until the late rounds when I do believe he tried to force a stoppage. Spence did exactly what he should have....if a fighter feels disrespected by the politics of boxing and the biased nature of casual (ie nationalist based) fans, take it out on the opponents hide and give him a career effecting beating

Anyone else find it funny that the Team Mikey guy hasn't been seen since the fight? There's a real fan for you, a guy who talks all kinds of trash and repeatedly said Mikey would school Spence, is the best in the world, etc etc, and as soon as he loses, he disappears just like the Danny Garcia obsessed St. John's Gent. That is some life-altering money if he fights Pac. The kind that if invested properly means he is set for life, regardless of what happens in his future. That's the lottery. No reason to pass that kind of money up. I really like Spence....just seems like a cool guy.
