Round 9 and 11, maybe 10 too I'd say he tried for the KO sort of. But it was more like he was trying to get the ref to stop the fight as opposed to knocking Garcia's head off.

He wasn't as vicious as he was against say, Kell Brook. As Tim Bradley said they were more like placement punches.

spence too emotional.. before the mikey fight he was asked if he was bother that mike tyson and ray leonard picked mikey over him. he said he respect their decision and that they're legends. then after the fight, he said those comments from them bothered him and that's why he wanted to prove that he was better than mikey.

When people disrespect you, you put them in their place. Plain and simple.

For a fighter it's a good thing to have that pride and that mean streak/grudge holding character trait. It helps to put you in the zone and to strive to be better.

Pac said some disrespectful things aboumt Spence's power and him being like Ledwaba. Can't wait to see how Spence responds (in the ring).

PS. Spence didn't say anything before the fight and gave Sugar, Mikey, and all of them their answers in the ring. That's how you do it. Let your performance do the talking.

Notice that when Pac said those things and Spence was asked what he thought about it, he only responded to the last statement about Pac saying he wants the fight in July. Spence simply answered that he would be ready to fight him in July and didn't say anything about the other stuff.

But you can be damn sure he is going to be training to put Pac in his place come fight time.

Garcia is definitely no Duran

As a career-long Roberto Duran fan, I initially was in Garcia's corner but the arrogance Spence speaks of came through loud and clear to me also and I began to go for Spence. His humility and ability drew me in. Humility seems such a rare commodity in the world today. Humility is an asset in the learning arena. Basically, if in your own mind you already know everything, your drive to learn more is hampered. You can pick up useful things from almost anyone, even if, on the whole, they are not on your level. I'll bet even in domination Spence learned from Garcia in that fight. And I'll bet he's got the humility to admit it if asked.
