With all of the duck talk, I'm just curious? Do you really think this is the last offer these streaming services are going to make to Deontay?

And better yet, do you think these are the best offers that will be made?

Fox will offer Wilder 2 bags of chips, a 2 liter coke, and a million coupons for his fans, 10% off on all items from Burger King when you spend more than 50 dollars a month.

I am expecting Wilder to sign a multi fight Showtime PPV deal today.

We won't argue that. In the words of Andre Ward, he definitely is stepping over a $100 to pick up a $1 for this particular matchup.

But are we assuming that bigger offers with greater leverage will not be coming his way?

I hope not. This just wouldn't make business sense

Dazn are splurging money at the moment to build up their service. It may last, it may not.

Wilder is in such a great position right now. People can't admit it to themselves because they dislike him so much and they're not mature enough to look at the facts. There's two big money HW fights with his name on them. He might not be worth **** after the first one, depending how it goes, but the guys putting together Fury and Joshua fights desperately want Wilder so they can make money off these fights. They're not ****** enough to let that opportunity go by. They're going to spend money to make money.

I think DAZN and ESPN will make offers after Wilder - Breazeale for sure. If those are rejected, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they make offers again before the end of year, after Wilder fights Kownacki or whoever else Haymon lines up for him.

After that, then I think they will finally come to the realization that they can't prize him away from Showtime, and they will give up.

So I guess where I'm going with this thread is trying to call attention to the fact that these streaming platforms are not going to stop bargaining to host a Deontay Wilder fight. The spike in subscriptions and the network effects therein could take both of them to new levels. This is the reason the investment has been so high initially in these fighters.
And the investment is absolutely worth it. I believe he'll be back to the table with these streaming platforms after the Breazeale fight (if he gets his way this will be on FOX broadcast TV) bargaining for the best contract he can get, but this time with more leverage
