... Well: the "other champions" at 147 are Porter, Pacman, Thurman, and Crawford (who's out of the picture for Mikey)...

... There are rumors that, next, there will be Spence vs Porter and Thurman vs Pacman... therefore...

I know it is easy to think he is, but Pacquiao is not one of the other champions. He is basically like a mandatory in the WBA. For that reason Pac should fight Thurman, who is a more winnable fight for him. I think Porter and Danny Garcia would be his best chance of winning against the top guys.

As far as Pac vs Spence? Just remember that Manny struggled with Jeff Horn. There are levels, and Pac isn't at that level anymore. Spence shut out a guy that is technically a better boxer than Manny is, and basically the same size. If he keeps chirping about how he can beat Spence though, he'll get his chance to try. If Pac thought Margarito's body shots were devastating, it won't be a fun night for him.

... right... but I don't think that, at this stage, Pacquiao would even be able to beat Thurman, tbh...

Mikey is a perfect opponent for Pacman.

Honestly I don't think Pacquiao beats Thurman either. I know Thurman didn't look his best in his last fight, but is very smart, fights well off his back foot, and is good at countering. I wouldn't be surprised if Thurman KO's Manny. Bad style match-up. Manny beat a shot Matthysse and Broner, and now some think he is back in his prime, but he is far from it. To me Danny Garcia would be his best option, followed by Porter.

"Mikey has quite a few options. I would say a move down to 140 would probably be the best option. There are fights at 147 that he could take, if he decides to stay at 147," Robert Garcia said.

              Baranchyk @ 140, or Omar Figueroa Jr. @ 144-147!

You make some great, valid points but at the same time what other options does Danny Garcia have??
If he beats Granados which I think he will who's he gonna fight??
He just lost to Porter and he wants no part of Spence so only Thurman and Pacquiao left.
He already lost to Thurman but I can definitely see a Pacquiao-Danny Garcia being made...
But if pacquiao decides to unify with Spence or Thurman then there's really nobody else for Danny to fight besides Mikey...
It if happens I'll go with the underdog and take Mikey to outbox Danny in a split decision win...

... for me Manny (at his age) isn't a big player anymore... tbh, I would have contemplated a "pass the torch" fight vs Spence, at the AT&T stadium... and no more

Okay you said it! I don't think Mikey can compete at the elite level at welterweight either so I don't think he can beat Thurman or Crawford.
But Danny Garcia isn't elite! He's a very good fighter but not elite!
I'll give Mikey a very good chance to beat Danny if they ever fought...

Danny by KO if Mikey actually comes to fight and not just to collect a check.
