If Manny had fought an Algieri trained by JDJ like Spence did, it would have gone like Khan/Algieri, and MayPac wouldn't have happened. Manny was so successful because of bad instructions from Tim "In The Cage" Lane.



So this notion that Spence has limited power is already debunked. He has power when he wants to use it. The Peterson fight was the same thing.

A few things...
1) as another poster mentioned, spence doesnt have “1punch KO” power. He has “ima punch you and you’ll have to carry the punch all night” power which is more or less the difference between 3g and Jacobs power.
2) pac is not the warrior his fans make him to be. He fights fire with fire but he takes turns returning. That would very much be the wrong fight with spence. Garcia was made ineffective by not punching with spence instead waiting on the fire to die to seek an opening.
3) spence is VERY good with distance, pacs “only” chance imo is some of his prime/ungodly footwork. MAYBE he can keep spence turning and never able to land anything significant. At one point garcia had spence badly out of place and open for a kill shot but garcia didnt shoot.
4) everyone should be extremely concerned with spences body work. Pac has been stopped to the body, and a weight drained, no hand wrapped margarito was able to hurt pac to the body.
5) pacs jab is pretty “broken” in that he lands maybe 10-15 percent tho its mostly just a blinder for the left. But the point is his jab would be the more important punch in this fight. The left is harder to land on southpaw...
6) spence can spend his camp training with floyd lol

Manny dropped Algieri but never really hurt him.

Spence almost killed that same Algieri but with a better trainer. A guy who had NEVER been stopped even by Ruslan.

See, that's the beauty of common opponents.

Pac embarrassed De La Hoya and Hatton way worst than Mayweather did, and still lost to him.

Pac has power undoubtedly. He just isn't that good at finishing very good or elite opponents. But to be fare, guys like Marquez, Bradley, and Mayweather have very good survival skills.

He is also not good at cutting off the ring, which is why he couldn't finish Algieri and Jeff Horn in round 9.

But no one has everything, Pac has many other awesome atrritbutes, power being one of them.

Spence might be more aggressive than Floyd but he doesn’t have the defense of Floyd. PAC prefers fighting guys that are more aggressive. He knows it’s more entertaining to the fans and at the same time gives him more opportunities to land punches.

Yeah but Spence showed that he can pot shot all night if he wants to in the Garcia fight. It's only in round nine that he really started walking him down like we're used to seeing him do. And even then he wasn't particularly aggressive, those were just placement combinations.
