Lol at people getting mad at Arum for speaking the truth. Even Ray Charles could see spence garcia was a complete mismatch. If Khan can avoid getting Ko'd he has a chance to beat Crawford. The only decision he lost is when he was clearly robbed against Peterson in Petersons hometown. Hes won 8 of his last 9 fights with his only loss against Canelo in a fight that was conpetitive while it lasted. Khan did 100 times better against canelo than Mikey did against Spence. Ive been a big Khan hater over the years btw im just speaking facts. The reality is Khan is a top ww and this fight will be much more competitive than spence garcia

However, there has been no doubt or question in my mind, that Bob has been the one who has been pushing and beating the drums for this fight to happen for the last several months. At least ever since, Mikey left Top Rank and signed with the PBC and Al Haymon.

That fight with Loma and Garcia along with Crawford and Spence has always been on the top of Bob Arums's wish list. However, he says it's Al Haymon who prevents them from happening.
The proof is in the pudding as they say. So let see if Loma/Arum will still sound off saying they want the Garcia fight now that the Spence fight is over.

So far the silence is deafening, especially if we contrast it to when Mikey agreed to fight Spence. Where’s the impetus now ?
I haven’t heard a peep about them still wanting the Mikey fight, and I’m not holding my breath.

Also Mikey was a complete fool for leaving Top Rank. He was being groomed to fight Pacquiao but as soon as Arum wanted Mikey to fight an elite opponent Gamboa Mikey went running for the hills and sat on the shelf for 2 years rather than step up to the plate. If he would have stayed with Top Rank he wouldnt be in such a *****ty situation as he is now. He coukd have beat Gamboa and then worked his way up and would have likely already fought Loma or Pacquiao in a superfight. Instead he fought former kickboxers like Lipinets and hype jobs like robert easter and broner and like an idiot thought he had a chance against spence. Say what you will about arum but they are the best match makers in the game. Mikey could have had such a better career with top rank if he wasnt such a bish

Garcia never made adjustments in the fight. His corner should also be held accountable for continuing to let Garcia take a beating.. For what, so his record doesn't say a lost UD instead of RTD? It may look good now but not so much in the future..

Spence-Garcia was a Mayweather-Marquez rendition, but with an even worse beating. Garcia took a lot of punishment trying to create opportunities, so to say he didn't try against a much taller man with much longer arms is disrespectful, and smacks of "casual". Weight classes exist for a reason, and failing against the top guy in your 6th class is nothing to be ashamed of. I thought he fought bravely.

Skills pay bills though. Spence correctly utilized his superior weapons to limit all of Garcia's options, and executed the game plan to literal perfection. Btw Khan is getting KTFO, and Crawford needs to fight a welterweight with a pulse before 2020.

So why should he? Now Mikey is damaged goods. It's just like Timothy Bradley said: "Mikey Garcia career is done".

Mikey is damaged goods right now. Spence exposed him and made him look like a complete amateur. His stock undoubtedly dropped big time because of this. We should have seen it coming though. Hes avoided tough challenges his entire career especially since signing with Haymon. The first elite opponent he faced and he got manhandled. He will have to beat a top fighter or 2 to make the Loma fight interesting enough and there be enough money for Top Rank and Pbc to make that ppv. At this point I havent seen anything from Garcia to make me think he has a chance in hell against Loma. Mikey is just another hype job 4 division champ by beating bums a la broner. Hed have to beat Progais or someone on that level to make me think otherwise.

It’s still a big money fight. Y so many premature assumptions with u? If he’s damaged goods, call your boy Loma up and tell him to ask for the fight. It’s as simple as that.
