it's ****ty people trying to have it both ways, I saw a lot of predictions saying Mikey was basically leaving on a stretcher. When Spence fails to do that and basically 1-2s Mikey from distance for half the fight followed by a moderate body attack against the ropes in the later rounds they want praise for that too.
I am not a fan but not a hater either, I just think his resume is weak and being padded with smaller, overmatched or past their prime opponents. Another observation being made is that while Mikey is a pretty brilliant conventional boxer he is still very flat footed and Spence shines against flat footed fighters that dont have the power to get his respect. All that said I think what is most telling abut the Sapiyev fight is that fighters who fight on the balls of their feet and present good movement gives Spence huge problems. Thurman has quick feet and the talent to counter with power as he sets traps. Spence may win that fight but I guarantee his fanboys will entertain their worst fears in that fight.

I dont understand why they are bragging so much as if it was some shock result, he was 1/8 favourite when the odds come out. People acting like its some signature win, although guess theyve not had a lot to brag about recently so they just pretend that it was a great win.
It's because he's the future and would become very difficult to beat. You see how he is being avoided and ducked by many of the titleholders and champions in his own weight division for the exception of Terence Craword.
