Where's the boogeyman power we're always hearing about from the fanatics? Was it taking the night off? And contary to the "chess not checkers" narrative I've seen spun one too many times on youtube, it is glaringly obvious by the increasingly heated flurries toward closing time that Spence *was* seeking the KO 100% and simply coming up short. As a natural MW comfortable in his weight bully racket and on his home turf...against a first time welter not exactly known for his granite Golovkin chin, who had to forge a devil's snac pact with Victor Conte to inflate himself to an awkward, slow, watery 147. That's arguably *regression* from the late stoppage of true blue (albeit shopworn) welter Brook who has the distinction of being the Spence's first opponent to not moonlight at Home Depot, but hey, whatevs. I mean, I understand it,.I really do. Since even a Gabe Rosado gives this pillow-fisted weight bully hype job a headache at his true home, he should definitely ride this train until the wheels fall off.

"Whichever way you looked at it Spence was the better man. To just say he was the bigger man is simply lazy...To say the champion won courtesy of his size is to ignore his speed, timing, distance, strategy, shot selection and skills. It’s to detract from him as a fighter, which should not be done. Spence belongs at the top end of your pound for pound lists."

    FACTS! Well said!

As if Easter is anywhere near as big as Spence. He's tall, and lanky, that's it, he doesn't have good power, and he's not as strong. There's a reason why he's at 135 despite being 5'11. Easter is gonna get destroyed at 140 or at 147.

Stop with the excuses, Spence can't stop a lightweight the way Loma, Golovkin, and Canelo destroyed their own lightweights and welterweights, because Spence is a level below them.

Robert Garcia’s not having a good year with his fighters. I used to respect him but heck with that trick. I could go to the circus for the next act. Robert has the wrong motives. Wonder if he ever trained black fighters?

How can Mikey and his fans compete? Spence and his fans are just Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger, Longer. Sad really.

This is what happens when people hype a fighter like Mikey Garcia.. I never thought Mikey would win this fight regardless of how many videos taking about Mikey's "elite level skill". Mikey is basic and predictable.

Well done to Spence for a good solid performance but maybe leave the little guys alone for a while now and pick on someone your own size.
If Pac is really next up then why not just go all in after that and take on Chocalito?
