Easter is taller and longer than Spence. If height and reach were the only reason Mikey lost, then why didn't the same happen when he fought Easter?

i think it had to do that spence is an awkward southpaw. Plus nothing mikey can land would bother spence so spence came out guns blazing without fear of power

Im not sure mikey is a top 20 welter based on last night. Its rare a fighter gets completely shut out, even a bum usually wins 1 or 2 rounds.

A case can be made for Mikey to have won the second. I didn't give it to him, but I can see how others did.

When you do it THAT way, it puts Mikey on the same level of Broner when he fought Porter.

So if we are saying that Spence was not just BIGGER but also better in beating Garcia, would we still be saying that if Garcia were a natural 147 pounder and well acclimated to the division as Spence is? Look Spence thoroughly kicked Garcia’s ass. But I’m hestitant to say that it was because of Spence’s skill and skill only that had him winning that fight. Imagine Spence moved up two weight divisions to fight someone like Charlo (who also hasn’t really beaten any of the top guys in his division).

Sometimes people believe their own hype and fail properly ascertain reality. This is what happened to Garcia. He paid the price in a spectacular fashion against an opponent that was willing to use the attributes that were initially granted to Garcia.
The reality is that Garcia is a decent fighter, no more no less. There is very little about him that makes you go " whoa!" This dude is amazing. Nothing. Luckily, he has a strong chin and a pretty good defense.
