I fear for Spence if he moves up in weight

Last night proved a few things

The lad has a very good jab

He isn’t the power puncher some were fooled into thinking

He was staggered by Mikey who isn’t a power puncher

His work rate will take him far against most guys his size or smaller

It all adds up to 1 thing...spends should never go higher than 147 or he’ll get murdered

The kid's only 29. He still has a lot of physically growing and maturing to do before eventually moving up Bro. However, he still stomped kicked the living shit out of Mike Garcia though

Then make it a catchweight at a 154lbs between Spence and Canelo. You are only talking out your ass man. You damn well that Canelo don't won't that smoke at 154.

What kind of soft thread is this? "I'm so scared Spence will eventually box someone who has his number"

Isn't that the name of the game. Of course he'll lose eventually, that's boxing.

                LOL at him being staggered.

And no, this fight actually showed he will be just fine moving up. He has legit pop, but I've said on numerous occasions punch by punch, he's not THAT big of a puncher and someone like Thurman has heavier hands. But Spence is so consistent with his offense that he is able to break fighters down as the fight goes on. His stamina is pretty insane and he never stop coming. But this fight showed he can box really well and knows how to manage his distance which he will need to especially do against bigger fighters. He will be just fine at LMW and eventually MW when he makes that jump.

Hurd isn't taking his soul. Would be interested to see how Spence deals with someone that big but Spence is better all around than him. Hurd has the size and also has great stamina so it will be entertaining and competitive, but Spence by decision.

Spence Junior is just a good all round fighter, he is not amazing in any department but also? Has no glaring weakness. To move up in weight, you need to have at-least one amazing attribute.

What I have noticed with Spence Junior, he seems to only have 1-2 gears.

For example a fighter like Amir Khan has multiple gears and intensities that he can fight at.'But I am aware that great fighters, always have the ability to force their opponent's to fight at the pace they want to fight at! Hopkins & Mayweather both did this, and I think Spence Junior also does this to a certain degree! Even against Kell brook, he just stuck in his prefer gear even when he was dropping rounds.
