Laughing my ass off

Mikey did his best and came up short. Nothing to laugh about. From boxing standpoint, Mikey fought robotic and in slow motion last night. No fluidity, no shine, no "it" factor, nothing. He might have overtrained too.
After 7 rounds, I had enough.Comment

Floyd debuted at 130...but what the hell, throw another weight class in for good measure.Comment

As soon as I was reviewing each fighters historical compubox I instantly realized Mikey is nowhere near active enough to beat Spence who is unbelievably active on offense for a ww. The thing is at lower weights I see Mikey as almost unbeatable for the same reason, against fighters near his own size its an enormous benefit for him to fight the way he does with excellent accuracy & defense while not wasting energy missing. It just doesn't work when your facing someone much larger who is a devastating body puncher as well as someone who is the most active welter on paper.Comment

What world class fighters has mikey beat? Nothing else, just list the names.Hes fought literally the best fighters near his weight class that were all bigger than him & destroyed them all & it took him facing the boogieman of ww to lose(the same ww other ww champs sht themselves over).
You contradict yourself daily as ive already proven numerous times your hypocritical fallacies. You are among the most biased nonsensical of the lot of loma/ggg fans. It makes no sense for you to say"until he fights someone at a high level" as if Spence is the 1st test mikeys faced or as if he was the only barometer to mikeys quality despite everyone expecting Spence to ko mikey & walk through him,but as I said would be the case Spence didn't even kd mikey & respected his power,I was told I was dead wrong by posters like you when I said Mikey would definitely not get kod but will lose.Comment

It kind of reminded me of Floyd slapping JMM around when JMM at the time was #2pfp. Floyd was only a 2-1 favorite. All we heard was the weight difference, etc. Both fights showed a tremendous skill difference. The size and weight didn't matter.I like Mikey as a fighter but I've always called it like I see it. Hes a good boxer but he doesnt have what it takes to be an ATG or more up in weight.
He survives soley off his fundamentals and size at lower weights.
And then Spence goes and completely obliterates him. He got his ass beat for 12 straight rounds and couldnt even win ONE round. Robert wanted to stop the fight too!
And then his fans, some of them, have the balls to talk the amount of **** they did before the fight and then the excuses after? Too funny.
Built in excuses. What I've been saying the whole time. There was even an article here that was like, no matter the result, Mikey would be a winner. He won nothing.
Oh. You think Mikey exposed Spence because he survived? Lmao. That's the ONLY thing he could have done! And Spence wanted to beat Mikey the **** up.
If some smaller man ran his mouth at me and I knew I had 12 rounds to beat him I wouldn't even go for the knock out. That's too easy. You want them to suffer. You want to enjoy beating them. You want to see the figh fade from their eyes.
Exactly what Spence did to Mikey.
So now all you Mikey fanboys can go crawl back into your holes. It's like Rigo all over again.Comment

And the "often facing much bigger fighters" thing is mostly inaccurate as well considering FmJ is a big ww who chose not to rehydrate because of his style,& aside from Canelo who he intentionally drained to 152 despite having the belts at 154 & having faced Cotto/dlh at full 154,FMJ rarely faced anyone who was truly much bigger than him. He was the ultimate salesman who constantly perpetuated fallacies to make himself appear even greater than he was;such as the fallacy that he couldn't have campaigned at 154 if he wanted to.Comment

Mikey has a pretty solid resume. After Salido, the combined record of his opponents was 218-8. Also remember he missed two of his best years with his dispute with Arum.
Here is his record, and the names. I would consider a few of them world class at the time he fought them.

What world class fighters were in his weight class that he could've/shoulda faced but didn't? Who below 140 is better than Mikeys resume? It's hilarious that you consider certain fighters elite or even atg's yet your only way to discredit mikey is to say what wc names has he faced. The irony is that Spence himselfs resume isn't as good as Mikeys when how challenging the opponent was is considered let alone when the odds given by bookies are considered.
I am dying to find out who DOES have a great resume & who you consider better than Mikey?Last edited by kushking; 03-17-2019, 03:34 PM.Comment

hey man, I agree mikey got his ass saved against salido. Big bro saved him, I'm no mikey fan. I'm just saying as far as first welterweight fight mikey has balls to fight such a fight as spence jr. Mayweather would not dare to fight spence prime for prime. Skill for skill yes Mayweather is wayyyy above mikey. We all know thatComment
