Not sure how this is a surprise. Spence is too big. The real champion is the heavyweight champion. Pound for pound is for marketing. The best fighter is probably an mma guy. So the best fighter in the world is probably daniel Cormier and before him it was Cain Velasquez so not sure why this fight is seen as anything more than a competition Bewtween super athletes that would rather hang out with each other than us.

Don't put down boxers in street fights. I'd take Mike Tyson over Cormier in a street fight any day.

On a side note, It's always refreshing to see people picking fairly small men like Cormier and Velasquez over 6'6" 250 pound giants.

How could mikey have done well? He’s too small. Terrance Crawford is also too small. Pacquiao is also too old. Spence should fight the young champions at his weight and age. He wouldn’t do well against Hurd or Mungia who are big strong and durable and just exchange. I don’t even think Spence would beat the Japanese guy that just fought mungia.

Do you guys remember why Floyd mayweather avoided margarito paul Williams and a prime Manny Pacquiao? Those guys were young reckless and just threw punches like maidana did, and mayweather didn’t have the power to keep them off. Maidana isn’t that good, he just had the right style, like Castillo and Jesus Chavez. Mikey should have moved up one weight class and fought someone who was a boxer instead of a strong young durable mauler like Spence.
