I didn't think this was going to be a dangerous fight for Spence. I thought Spence would box to a clear a decision and maybe knock Mikey out. We don't know if he didn't try. He could of tried and figured out he had nothing after the first 3-4 rounds then went into survival mode. He didn't go out on his shield and yea that's bothersome but it's his health not yours. He still got in the ring with Spence when we have champs who avoid other fighters/champs in their own weight class. That's better than watching a bunch of fighters play politics and blame eachother for the fight not happening.

This fight for Mikey was about daring to be great. It's all we kept hearing from the moment this fight got signed. You can't chase greatness when you're not winning rounds.

You can chase greatness by stepping up in uncharted waters against a supposed bogeyman. It doesn't mean you are going to win rounds. I'm sure the plan was to win he just did not expect to be so thoroughly out boxed. Mikey just didn't have any answers for Spence. It happens. Just because your chasing greatness doesn't mean you are going to be great.

Yo I get what you're saying. I do give him credit for lasting 12 rounds but the effort was lackluster on his part. The Garcias said over and over and over that Spence only has size and power and look how that turned out. This "moral victory" is not a good example of daring to be great when the fight is one sided.

Aye where is that biased commentator of Mexican Puppet that had said Mikey is going to KO Spence. He needs to man up and own it!

I think Mikey bought into his own hype and the promotion of the fight convinced some people it would be more. Mikey and his team got Spence all wrong and are just happy Mikey survived. I would of much rather he fought Linares or someone else to set up a Loma fight. It's seems the majority on here thought Spence would win. its unfortunate though you got guys like Porter talking about fighting Spence but then playing games once he wins a title. Little Mikey at least got in the ring while you got guys at WW avoiding Spence. I think that's their moral victory. It still seems hollow to me too and more like a built in excuse they had ready in case he lost.

He won the respect of everyone, and I won.
