The questions I have now are of Mikey Garcia...

Why did he take this fight, against insurmountable odds? Rather than keep dominating the guys in and around his OWN weight class?!

Like, is his ego that big, that he simply wanted the prestige of fighting the current boogeyman, no matter the challenge?

Or, it is his intention to QUIT boxing (wouldnt be his first time) in the immediate future, so he leapfrogged over those other guys, to cash in his ticket against Spence?

Now that Mikey has cashed in that ticket, is he DONE?!

Spence showed that he isn't just a much bigger and stronger fighter but also that he's a much better boxer. Kudos to Mikey for finding a way to go 12 but that's all the credit I'm willing to give anyone in this fight. I said this was a huge mismatch ever since this fight was first proposed but there were way too many clowns both on here and elsewhere who bought into the hype and refused to see the obvious. Enough of these weight jumping clown fights! Ultimately Spence can earn very little credit for winning such a physically one-sided fight (and people will ask why he didn't knock him out) and at the same time this arrogant and ultimately doomed effort from Garcia has likely cost him his P4P credentials. He can rebuild, but he has to do it at his own damn weight. Honestly, my advice for Spence is the same - PLEASE fight a proper welterweight next! Thurman, Crawford, or even Porter or Garcia, just any live body with a decent track record at the weight, please. There are caveats to all his best wins so far, especially this one.

Dunno about 147. Mikey looked slow, his punches looked telegraphed and Spence could easily catch them on his gloves - not sure how he could get faster at 147.

For sure his footwork and defence were excellent (only reason he went 12), but he couldn't transition from defence into attack, so it made it easy for Spence as he could think his way in without too much coming back at him. When Garcia did unload, it was too easy for Spence to avoid and block.

I suspect he would have problems getting back to 135 and being able to maintain 12 rounds - so 140 is it, and that's a pretty interesting division right now. Mikey/Prograis would be interesting.

I thyink the big problem was being acclimated to the weight.

He has to acclimate to the weight, 3 months aint enough, and mikey always telegraph his punches but the problem is he does it when figthers arent in the position to duck it regardless, tonight spence always was in position and mikey wasnt. Mikey under estiamted that its 3 moves to counter as opesed to a simple counter, he had to duck and position himself to land, then THROW where he used to just duck and counter.

and by the time he did the DUCK, Position himself, adn then counter spence was gone already.

What really surprised me about Spence was he was intelligent in there. He’s never shown that at that level before. I now think he could whip Bud. Too big AND SMART.
