Mikey can't beat any top 10 147 dudes.
He was maxed out at 140.
But he sure did not do a better job in his last fight with Benavidez, who had some shocking clean counters on Crawford in multiple rounds, till Crawford was able to fully take control.

If you guys enough of morons to fill 75 bucks in haymon pocket for his bias fights then fair enough.

It seems that he didn't have the power to stop Garcia despite landing flush so he ain't stopping bud y'all tripping.
You're totally d-riding Bud right now it's not even debatable if you're a fan or not. I wonder if you have had that same energy that you have against Haymond, towards Arum over the years....

      • Where does Mikey go from here. Some fighters dont take their first L very well. Interesting to see how his career goes from here. Might define his legacy.

I love Spence and always favored him to KO anyone at WW...but if he can't KO Mikey I mean I gotta say that bodes well for Crawford against him. I gotta actually watch this fight but if he couldn't KO Mikey this is kind of a disappointing performance for both him and Mikey, more than any type of strong performance from either.

            Your logic is grossly flawed.

First of all, you have PROFESSIONAL fighters saying Mikey was gonna win, based on skillset alone.

Secondly, Spence saw an opportunity to fight a Big name....a big name that, by the way, was calling him out...who else at welters has called out Spence??? Be realistic in your response too.. Bud had every opportunity to be in the mix with ALLLLLLL the other Welters and decided to sign with that snakeoil salesman Bob Arum. Tell me, who exactly of quality will Bud fight next?

He's gotta face Loma right? This was a no-need legacy fight and that one should be much more expected from everyone, and easier weight wise for him

Don't get mad. Mikey Garcia asked for this asswhooping instead of fighting Lomachenko at 135. He picked his poison. What a cherrypick gone left? He just got completely owned, outclassed and dominated by a lesser scientific, skilled and fundamentally sound fighter. You might as well accept the fact the Errol Spence, Jr. is the best pound 4 pound fighter in the world

So wait hold up....you didn't even watch the fight and you're all up here on the forums talking this and that??

We all know how exceptional GREAT Mexican fighters are at taking punishment. Mikey Garcia is no exception. Hell, has Mikey ever even been knocked down???

People talked **** about Ward....saying Ward would never challenge Kovalev...yet he dared to be great and put Kovalev on the back burner.

Fact of the matter is, MIKEYS CORNER WANTES TO STOP THE FIGHT. He was taking toooooo much punishment. Ever heard of having too much Heart????

every single fighter calls out somebody at one point. doesn't mean the fights actually get made. Even if garcias was 10X more skilled it wouldn't have mattered. The size difference in this fight was massive. Spence took this fight real quick.

Mikey was always a notch below Great. Lomachenko would have dominated him, too. Mikey made a wise choice of being dominated by a bigger fighter.
