Great to read, as ever, from the Breadman... with one tiny caveat this time. Cotto over Maravillia for an 'ATG' win? Context counts here, surely?

he's mentioned his thoughts on that fight before. He said Martinez didn't walk into the ring limping, it was cotto's left hook that made Martinez knee unstable. Happened so early in the fight, it's tough to ever know what came first.

Even without the knee, Maravilia was 39 years old had been out of the ring for 14 months and already looked shot against Murray. It doesn't mean Cotto shouldn't still get some credit, but in no world would I describe it as an ATG type win.

I thought for sure The Hawk- Aaron Pryor's win vs Alexis Arguello would have made all time top 10??

Its easy to forget nowadays because time has passed

NOONE gave Cotto a shot at beating Martinez, even an older broken down Martinez. The consensus was that Martinez was going to beatdown Cotto.

I think alot of people forget that Cotto wasnt the favorite or underdog and how impossible the odds seemed. Its an ATG victory.

It reminds me of Lucas vs Danny in a way. EVERYONE and their mother thought the only way Garcia was leaving the ring was on a stretcher

Bread didn't want to pick a winner? He's basically saying Garcia vs Spence is a 50/50 fight that will go the distance in a fight that can go either way.

              ....I think Spence stops Garica.

The water bottle is a dark cloud that lingers over that fight.

I rate Danny's win over Cotto's tbh. I don't remember everybody thinking Sergio would win.

That was just a few years lol Sergio was done. I don't get how that win ranks over so many others.

Breadman did predict the outcome, between rounds 9-11, Mikey capitulating (surrendering) Read his last paragraph..
