its a fight mikey wanted and every fighter belives, on their best night, they can beat anyone within reason...every fighter is confident they can win if things go right.....should mikey go in with his shoulders slumped and a sour puss?!

He believes he will win or he would not have asked for the fight. The money is great but he has other less dangerous fights he could take that would make him big money. He would not ask for a fight he expected to lose just because it would be a big payday.

fighters believe on their best night, when everything goes right, they will beat anyone....mikey isn't scared one bit.....he didn't have to take this fight...it wasn't forced on him the way some would have us believe(these are people that hate on haymon and pbc)....

I think its because the Conte Mikey has been destroying middleweights in the gym. He believes he can school and even knock out Spence.

Why shouldn't an undefeated highly skilled boxer be confident he can beat anyone? I'm sure he has sparred with welterweights many times before and feels he can handle anyone in that weight class. It's not like he's moving up to HW and thinks he can beat AJ or something like that. Even though I pick Spence to win, it's still a fight where Garcia could win.

I recall him sparring with Maidana for the Mayweather fights and probably before that.
