Crawford is a consensus top 2 p4p, Spence is a consensus top 10 p4p, Thurman has a good track record and is coming back and the you’ve got Porter and Garcia who’ve proven themselves as very close to Thurman there’s also Ugas who arguably got a raw deal last week.

It’s a strong division. Not deep IMO very top heavy but a strong top 5.

This, not much else to say, you could argue there are a lot of solid fighters outside that top 5 too. Khan, Peterson, Horn, Vargas are not pushovers but very good gatekeepers, Pac is also still a factor

What's wrong, no Eastern Europeans or Brits in the Division for you guys to STROKE so now you want to downplay the Division

Put your little Lady Like Emotional Attachments to the side and try using some damn LOGIC. Historically Welterweight and Heavyweight Division always been the most popular division and that likely won't change. The Welterweight Division took over thanks to Oscar De La Hoya who became that Cross Over Superstar after Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. 3 of boxing last True Cross Over SUPERSTARS (Oscar De La Hoya, Mayweather, Pacquiao) all became Superstars AT WELTERWEIGHT! Of course you had Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns Welterweight ERA so History is why that Division will always be one of the most popular if not the most popular in the sport of boxing. Yeah they all need to fight each other and they Will! Just like the Heavyweight Division needs to fight each other (AJ vs Wilder) and eventually they will have no choice.

Boxrec could be used as the source to do an interesting analysis of the comparative strength of each division. Perhaps calculate the average points of the top 50 or so in each division. I can't be bothered to do it myself but maybe someone will.
