He’s not a winner if he gets beat bad enough.

Yep. No doubt you’re 100% correct.

Lol won't be winning if he gets years taken off his career and looks like a punk in the fight

The only scenario where I see him a winner... He pretends to get knocked around a couple rounds, looks like crap, pretends to take a ko, but doesn’t take a lot of damage. Gets paid, looks like crap so Thurman will fight him. That’s two good checks. Most likely scenario... has trouble with pronounciation of words in 10 years.

You always have something to lose in a boxing match. Did Kell Brook or Amir Khan emerge as "winners" against Golovkin or Canelo?

Garcia was not undisputed even in 135 this jump was unnecessary (unlike Usyk's case where he cleared cruiser and had nothing to prove). The only "win" for him is a close MD loss, in every other way a loss is a loss.

Ummmm, no. If he gets clobbered from pillar to post, nothing too congratulatory about that (unless there's a Davy Moore ''You Gave It Your All'' Award )

I'm still expecting an entertaining mismatch, ala Tito vs Vargas....only it ends much sooner and Spence doesn't get knocked down.

Absolute garbage. Spence is a joke for taking the fight in the first place but mikey doesnt deserve an award for 'taking part'. Dont know why moving up in weight is considered the goal of every fighter, just fight at your best weight ffs

This is the first example that sprang to mind. I don't recall many folk calling Kell a 'winner' to comfort him while he waited for his face to be rebuilt.
