Wilder turned down DAZN's offer and AJ is contracted to Matchroom, which means Eddie Hearn, who Wilder says he will not deal with under any circumstances. That's an impediment, and an impediment is exactly what it's supposed to be.Last edited by kafkod; 03-15-2019, 09:31 PM.Comment

Anthony Joshua is getting his first taste of a $30m purse, knowing full well that the biggest POT he could ever hope of seeing in the UK is sub $45m, with no actual obligation to DAZN.
Wilder will have his fight in May, Joshua will have his fight in June, and then a conversation will be had, management to management if need be.
Wilder/Joshua, if they actually want to fight, will come to an understanding, and then the talks will move to the camps (with Wilder and Joshua letting the rest of the team hash out the terms).
DAZN will bid for the US TV rights, Showtime will bid for the US TV rights, and ESPN may even put in a bid for the fight; Wilder will see the offer, Joshua will see the offer, and the fight will end up where the most money ends up being.Comment

I wouldn't mind seeing Fury fight Michael "the bounty" Hunter. He doesn't have the greatest resume but his only loss was a decision in 2017 to Usyk.Comment

Fury just adding to his Golovkin-level of bad resume before fighting another big name
Nothing surprising here.Comment

Eddie Hearn is a punk ass punk, but there's still a deal that can be had between Joshua and Wilder, with the only bar being finding the market value of the fight in the UK and squaring Joshua's contract with Sky Sports.
