Is the Joshua fight on the horizon at least for the next fight, no? The fight after, maybe maybe not? SO this doesn't really mean much because he has to fight interim fights and wherever those take place doesn't mean much.
As long as Wilder wins his fight the money will keep going up to fight Joshua and DAZN is still going to want that fight as will other outlets if DAZN craps out.
Now I could see why people would say Wilder should just take the money and usually in boxing that is what one should do because there is no safety net at all for fighters but fighters often don't because they are well fighters and always bet on themselves.
The Breazeale fight if on DAZN does nothing for Wilder's star power though he is basically locked into what he currently is (while he would be getting paid for what he could be), he is pretty well known for an American fighter but can he have a much larger q rating than he does now? IF he fights Breazeale and looks great (which is likely because Breazeale is like tailor made for him) then people will be even more into Wilder and he will be coming off an impressive domination rather than a draw where he looked iffy which is always better for sales.
That is a lot of money to pass on but if he can become a bigger star, it could be worth it with added money coming from sources outside his boxing checks. As long as he doesn't lose and mess it up that is.
