Too damn right. Finkel has held Wilder’s career back. It was Finkel who was saying “Deontay’s not ready for Klitschko” which is how AJ got ahead in the first place

      • DAZN sounding real good.. 100 mill.. 3 fight deal or fight on Showtime and fight a big risk for a low reward.

Showtime is all about the smaller fighters it seems like anyway...

They are a global company, they don't just air in the US and make and lose money in the US.

By securing these fights and fighters they can get subscribers not just in the USA but from sports fans all around the world who have DAZN in their countries.

I actually think he should take the deal if its really that cut n dry but I don't know what the deal really has in it to be honest

I read an article yesterday that he was turning it down because of something shady. I have to read it again I’ll try and post a link

WTF??!! For that money I'd get in the ring with Joshua every week for a year; and I'm only 6ft, 185lbs, have fused vertebrae in my spine and dodgy joints.
if true that's not a good look

If they're offering him that much, just think how much they must be offering Joshua?

Do you think people give vast sums of money away without wanting anything in return? Do you think that DAZN are asking AJ when he would like to meet Wilder and adjusting their schedule accordingly?

No and no is the answer you should be getting.

The reason for delaying the fight is to maximise the value that can be derived from it. That means getting hardcore Wilder fans subscribing on DAZN well in advance helping to build a buzz and demand amongst the wider population, that means fights to build the big fight. They want Wilder to go into that fight as a credible threat to Joshua, because they want as many American fans as possible tuned in to see an American maybe becoming undisputed HW champ.
Man your not a promoter your a fan and this fight has been "marinating" enough. All they would do by holding it off until next year or longer is maximize the chance they end up with NOTHING.You have two undefeated KO artist's with a combined rec of 62-0-1 60KOs so the time to strike is NOW while the iron is hot.And they would STILL have the chance to build it up since now BOTH will be fighting interim fights already.Only people who don't want this fight is fanboys of either fighter or maybe a certain promoter/fighter.Will have to wait until details come out about deal before I consider Wilder avoiding it like AJ and CLEARLY Fury have in past.I know Wilder wanted it before and he CLEARLY wanted 2nd Fury fight. But if its a case of one being scared and the other being glad of it then ill be 1st to call Wilder out because im not a fanboy(like MAYBE certain people)im a fan and THE SPORT ALWAYS comes 1st.

                    • Please forgive me if I am wrong Wilder fans but if it is true that Finkel is indeed rejecting this 3 fight $100mil deal that DAZN is offering Deontay; Then he is full of shit and Wilder should terminate his Goddamned ass along with Jay Deas and Mark Breland as soon as possible.
