Comments Thread For: Wilder Manager on DAZN Offer: We Have A lot To Think About

I think it’s strange oh so strange how people on here seem to really think that if dazn is successful that they personally are as well. Why is it so important that you have a day in wilder’s or Joshua’s money? You lads are getting nary a pence of any of that dosh. Not one dime, not a penny. I swear some of you are literally off your medication posting on here

Ok back on topic. Am I ignorant to boxing because I want Beyoncé to take the $50 mill for two fights? Where else will he get that for two fights? To me that’s a come up and a hustle.

March 13, 2019:
WBN is currently reporting that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has been offered $50 million for a two-fight deal on DAZN. Wilder was known to be meeting with DAZN representatives this week and with this supposed offer Wilder would be set up to earn $25 million apiece for two fights that would eventually lead into an undisputed heavyweight title unification against Anthony Joshua should Wilder win in both outings. Wilder would then be able to negotiate a better deal for the Joshua fight separately...
If the offer proves to be legit it could be a hard one to turn down. Earning $25 million for two fights is certainly nothing to sneeze at, particularly with the potential to earn much more for a fight against Joshua. That said, Wilder might not be interested in making a two-fight commitment to DAZN as that would seemingly push any potential fight with Joshua into 2020.

Seems there's no guarantees that Wilder gets Joshua! Only that Wilder will fight on DAZN!
50m-2 fights (AJ not incl-separate contr.)
100m-3 fights (2AJ fights incl).
That's by WBN-there are 2 different articles on the same subject, with different numbers.

Wilder's team is betting that Wilder-AJ will only get bigger and why put a ceiling on the value of the biggest HW fight in generations at this point? Let it cook a little more..

If the deal REALLY is 3 fight with AJ being 2nd and 3rd then Wilder deff should take it.I been on the record saying AJ has not wanted this fight and Fury CLEARLY ducking rematch(that's really undisputed)but if story IS TRUE then Wilder has to take it otherwise it don't look good for him.But here is the fly in ointment World Boxing News is reporting that's its at LEAST four fight deal with AJ not coming till sometime next year maybe later. If that's the case then its pretty clear that AJ is avoiding this fight as long as possible(their going to marinate this thing until one is beat). But like I said if this story is true I see NO REASON why Wilder should not jump on this.I know Wilder is loyal to Showtime but with this deal(again 3 fight with AJ being 2nd two)he can bring back undisputed title back to Show if he wants and finish career there.
