As in, Wilder won't be able to fight bums for $100 million and would be putting his record on the line and the risk of getting exposed.
My thoughts exactly hahaha. He'll be in a tight spot and he wil get exposed by either AJ, Whyte or Klitschko...or all three. Maybe even Usyk or Povetkin

How much will he make for his next two fights if he doesn’t sign?
Some other posters are trying to argue with me about this but they have no leg to stand on.
Well of course it matters. Why not just offer him the AJ fight if DAZN is so serious? They are trying to force him to fight Shyte? He's the WBC champion. AJ needs him to be undisputed. Time for AJ to step up and make it happen if thats what he wants..

It could just be a "We'll show you who's boss" type of situation. In that case, **** DAZN..

        March 13, 2019:

WBN is currently reporting that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has been offered $50 million for a two-fight deal on DAZN. Wilder was known to be meeting with DAZN representatives this week and with this supposed offer Wilder would be set up to earn $25 million apiece for two fights that would eventually lead into an undisputed heavyweight title unification against Anthony Joshua should Wilder win in both outings. Wilder would then be able to negotiate a better deal for the Joshua fight separately...

If the offer proves to be legit it could be a hard one to turn down. Earning $25 million for two fights is certainly nothing to sneeze at, particularly with the potential to earn much more for a fight against Joshua. That said, Wilder might not be interested in making a two-fight commitment to DAZN as that would seemingly push any potential fight with Joshua into 2020.

Seems there's no guarantees that Wilder gets Joshua! Only that Wilder will fight on DAZN!

Ok so if you were Beyoncé you would decline the offer and continue to fight for $2-3 million a fight instead of $25????

If it meant fighting Hearn scrubs what is the point? I guess take the money but Wilder needs legacy fights at this point, not endless waiting for AJ. AJ needs to step and make this a no-brainer..

            • Good. If DAZN is serious, the offer won't go anywhere..

Isn’t rather fight for money. You can only lead a horse to water you can’t force them to drink
I’m not blaming Beyoncé or aj I’m just saying take the money and run fk it. By accepting the terms and fights he is putting it on Hearn and AJ so they look like the ducks

That's right because Deontay Wilder is American! We all know that all roads leads to America. Globally, we are the creme de la creme. Boxing can go only as far as America takes it. Moreover, on average Deontay Wilder is making more than Canelo per fight. The so called biggest cash cow in the sport of boxing

Oh he's going to get paid no matter what eventually. As long as he has the green belt, AJ will come calling eventually. The offer will probably go up. Wilder's team is betting that Wilder-AJ will only get bigger and why put a ceiling on the value of the biggest HW fight in generations at this point? Let it cook a little more..

The 'baddest man on the planet' cries if Eddie Hearns name is ever mentioned just because Hearn has publically called him out on his ducking and tells everybody AJ will annihilate him.
Or could it be because he's been offered a three fight deal worth over a $100mil? That's more than any English fighter or any Eastern European fighter could ever fathom such a deal as this one.
