“We have a lot to think about”

aka, “we need to come up with an excuse that we can feed to our fanboys for not taking the AJ fight”.

Finkel quit busting everyone's balls. You are taking the deal. You know damn well you guys are taking the deal. You and Jay Deas are going to get anywhere between a 10-15 percent cut of that 3 fight $100mil deal while Haymon will get about 3-8 percent of it.

If they have a lot to think about, then they shouldn't be in boxing. Simple as that.

... Finkel: "With Deontay, though, his fights are never just about the payday."

... Yeah... Wilder is fighting for his legacy and for the business well-being of Finkel, Haymon, Showtime...

yes some excuse that AJ/hearn himself admitted to ducking 50 mil,&even a flat rate when wilder accepted being ripped off. You actualley are ****** enough to not believe hearn Snr when he said he would duck wilder til 2020?AJ wont find his balls til then regardless of platform, hell just keep fighting bums like he did when he ducked ortiz for pulev & even after pulev was injured he still chose takam instead of ortiz

Let's see if ESPN or Showtime come up with a better offer, but I suspect DAZN are willing to outbid everyone to make sure they get the rights to the Undisputed HW Championship fight.
Hopefully this will keep all ego's involved happy enough for the fight to happen this autumn/winter - I'm a Brit, but love the idea of making this for either Halloween or Thanksgiving Holiday in NY. Though I'd be more than happy for it to go to the Principality stadium in Cardiff with it's retractable roof, as there's more chance I could get to see it live there.

Nail on the head that is exactly what I thought when I read that line!

In my day I thought the Tyson-Holyfield rematch with both guys making over 30m was tremendous but both of those guys had been champs
Multiple times over, had both lost, had both been knocked out, had both had high ppv sale rates and where instantly recognizeable by non boxing fans etc. This isn’t any of that. It’s great to see the fighters making that kind of money and competing with nfl, nba, mlb pay no doubt....but it still remains to be seen if actual stats can me made on an app only avenue in the USA. Dazn is paying for stars made on PBC, showtime, and hbo....can a fighter capture the casual crowd to have viewers in the millions on an app only? I just don’t see that yet. Dazn doesn’t have a robust marketing and promotion apparatus that crosses media lines. IE this in no way looks sustainable for that outfit. They have got to be heavily in the red with these contracts and lack of subscriptions and physical gates
I agree ,Hearn alluded to that in an interview .Albeit you have to speculate to accumulate

                    Lol try harder.
Better yet, why not wait till finkel gives you a fresh bs story you can actually work with?
That way you won’t have to use stale lies that have been exposed over and over again.

You English guys seem to be both jealous and enraged at Deontay Wilder's success.
