watch the clowns find a way to blame eddie hearn. he's chosen to be quiet in this round of negotiations, so naturally that will become the reason it doesn't happen.
when he offered more than wilder has ever made, it was slave wages.
when he didn't have the venue/date set, he was a fraud and a shyster.
when he talked, he talked too much.
when he asked what they wanted, he needed to make good offers.
when he wanted to meet, he had to accept publicly first.
when he finally sent offers, he had to stop sending offers, but ask what they want.
when he set a date and venue, he had to not just choose a date and venue without discussion.

so naturally, now that he's stepped away, that's going to be the reason why this doesn't work.

The whole deal is based around fighting Joshua. They aren't offering that for him to fight Breazeale and Ortiz only.
Yeah well sounds to good to be true. So we'll see.
Signing to a network does not guarantee a fight with a fighter.
Both fighters have to WANT to make the fight.

Only DAZN is ****** enough to offer Wilder so much.
And only Wilder is ****** enough not to take it.

Tables have turned, I wouldn't be able to understand if Wilder somehow went a different direction. I just wished the deal included a fight with AJ this year.

I would argue that there are quite a few guys on this site that are more interested in arguing about AJ and Hearn being the best thing since sliced bread than they are actually seeing the fights. So I guess it goes both ways.

I too just want to see the fight and the winner will get my respect.

The bold two says it all about this whole affair. How these fans can say Wilders "the baddest man on the planet" and then say that Hearns emotionally abused him by disagreeing with Wilders inflated sense of financial worth is beyond me.

In my day I thought the Tyson-Holyfield rematch with both guys making over 30m was tremendous but both of those guys had been champs
Multiple times over, had both lost, had both been knocked out, had both had high ppv sale rates and where instantly recognizeable by non boxing fans etc. This isn’t any of that. It’s great to see the fighters making that kind of money and competing with nfl, nba, mlb pay no doubt....but it still remains to be seen if actual stats can me made on an app only avenue in the USA. Dazn is paying for stars made on PBC, showtime, and hbo....can a fighter capture the casual crowd to have viewers in the millions on an app only? I just don’t see that yet. Dazn doesn’t have a robust marketing and promotion apparatus that crosses media lines. IE this in no way looks sustainable for that outfit. They have got to be heavily in the red with these contracts and lack of subscriptions and physical gates
DAZN will be streaming these shows live in multiple countries all over the world, not just in the US. They screened Fury vs Wilder live in several European countries, including Germany, and the Germans love HW boxing.

Big fights from the US, especially the HWs, were once watched live by hundreds of millions of fans outside the US, and I reckon DAZN are hoping to bring those glory days back and reap the benifit for themselves. They don't necessarily need to take off in the US itself to make money from US boxing.
