If Gervonta Davis is getting $5m, what does Hearn expect DiBella to ask for on behalf of Farmer for the fight, lol?

All this is is Tevin Farmer has knocked off the 130lbers that Hearn had to offer, the co-promotional deal is likely done with this fight or the fight after this one, and the fight that entices Farmer is Gervonta Davis.

    Nice try though.

Farmer beats Carroll, DiBella takes Farmer back to Showtime (likely back to Philly depending on how the tickets sell), and then the second Showtime fight will be Davis-Farmer for the WBA/IBF 130lb titles.

Davis is the attraction at 130lbs now, and Charlo already has 25% of an Alvarez-Charlo bid mandated to come his way ($12m-$15m, depending on what you value a Canelo fight at)

Farmer's co-promotional deal is almost up (wouldn't be shocked if this was the last fight of the deal); what's to stop Floyd/Davis from sitting down with Lou/Farmer and saying "finish out your deal with this St Paddy's Day fight, let's have both fighters take interim fight over the summer, and then let's jointly run with Davis vs Farmer at Barclays to close/open the year"?

There's no need to fight on DAZN.

Why? We have no idea what David currently makes as a headlining fighter on Showtime

So you want Hearn to pay Davis 5 mil from his budget for the fight to be shown on showtime or fox? Are you ok?

I don’t see what’s sneaky about options tbh. Haymon had options on aj after he defeated Martin. In the case if Davis, a massive offer is likely to come with options. I imagine a two fight deal minimum.

There is. Money should be the reason.

How much would Showtime pay Farmer? 50-100k? He should stay at DAZN and make his coin, even fire DiBella.

Davis should take his 5 mill, if true, and fight Farmer on DAZN. Farmer is nondescript and easy enough, why would we want to see Davis fight another can like Ruiz over the summer?

I don't get it, unless I misunderstood something.

Davis is the attraction as you say. Farmer would get maybe 1 mill, I assume, which is life changing for him. Who else would pay him that?

**** I’m liking farmer atm, I think Davis will spark him, but I like how farmer is gunning for the fight, and he’s active I feel like he fights every 2nd month

                      January 10, 2019:

“You could probably see a Gervonta Davis fight [with Farmer.] I think it’s probably inevitable,” said DiBella.

“If it happens in 2019 it will be late in the year. It won’t be early because of Tevin’s contract with DAZN. But late in the year, it’s certainly a meaningful possibility.”

A grudge match of 130-pound southpaws between Baltimore’s WBA “super” champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis and IBF counterpart Tevin Farmer is “probably inevitable” and “a meaningful possibility” for 2019, Farmer’s promoter, Lou DiBella told Tha Boxing Voice during a Tuesday podcast hosted by Nestor Gibbs, Ronald Goodall, Michael Gross and Mario Mungia.

                      Tank won't be on DAZN!
