Thanks for the link. I've seen this before. If it was that good, he would have signed it. It's the fighter who signs the contract. How would they take advantage of him, if he hasn't accepted the offer?

Can't see Floyd stealing from Gervonta. None of that is going on.

How would they take advantage? By not showing him offers to fight on other networks to keep him on their own, to keep it alive as a bigger picture. They've not exactly been doing right by him and keeping him active have they?

Maybe he just doesn't care for the business side of thing (apart from cashing the cheque) and can trust them to do what he pays them for, but he should still be careful, people do strange things when money is involved.

Davis is not who Fast Eddie needs to be propositioning; for anyone on The Money Team, it's Mayweather who he'll have to throw cash at. Floyd will then let scraps fall to those he deems to be his underlings.

How much would Showtime pay Farmer? 50-100k? He should stay at DAZN and make his coin, even fire DiBella.

Davis should take his 5 mill, if true, and fight Farmer on DAZN. Farmer is nondescript and easy enough, why would we want to see Davis fight another can like Ruiz over the summer?

I don't get it, unless I misunderstood something.

For a 'Showtime Championship Boxing' date? History tells us that that TV rights fee could be for anywhere from $1m-$5m. On top of that, ITV is buying the UK rights to Haymon's big fights as part of their bundle, and they will for sure get Davis-Farmer and may also be open to Farmer-TBA depending on what DiBella can put with it.

Farmer is getting paid alright, but it's likely nowhere near what he'd have folks think Farmer is getting. Three title defenses into his run, no one still knows who he is, and all Hearn has to offer is Quigg.

Gervonta Davis truly believes that he will be a PPV star at some point; what does fighting in front of next to nobody do for that vision?

We're all working with incomplete information, tbh; if the pay package is similar, but Davis is literally getting 10 times the reach with Showtime/FOX/FS1 than he would get with DAZN, what are we talking about here?

Davis is the attraction as you say. Farmer would get maybe 1 mill, I assume, which is life changing for him. Who else would pay him that?

Why would he care about the audience he reaches for that kind of money for just one fight without any strings? Do you think Showtime or Fox would pay him 5 million for his next fight?
