Wrong on pricing himself out as well. 2 times they had everything agreed with money and location. But G was waiting on whether Canelo would fight him or not. If he didn't, Saunders would have got the fight.

There's a reason Brits didn't call Golovkin a ducker when the Canelo fights came instead, because we're not idiots and understood that the Canelo fights were bigger for him. If it was an American, they'd be screaming that Golovkin was a coward for not fighting him even though a bigger fight was on offer. Americans are ****ing idiots is why. Anything they can do to smear you they will. Insecurity knows no bounds with you lot. So take your typical bull**** and lacking in knowledge, and do one.

    thats exactly right

    • If Golovkin REALLY wants to fight the best.....

why did he refuse to rematch Jacobs ?

why was he..... " not interested " in Canelo ?

why did he show no interest in Saunders ?

why did he say that Charlo made..... " no sense " ?

why has he shown no interest in Andrade ?

why did he refuse to fight Derevyanchenko ?

      I smell golov-bullshlt

The other guys at MW are good, but none have done really close to enough to consider those 'legacy' fights.

You sound like you are just ready for any reason to try and hate on GGG man lol. If Canelo is next in September, do you really think DAZN is going to set up a killer fight for GGG in June? I mean come on man, think, it's just common sense.

This is why GGG haters have no credibility. They are so desperate for any reason to hate on GGG that they quickly reveal their bias.
Isn’t that what all of you ggg fangirls do against Canelo? GTFOH you fäggs were so adamant on shïting on Canelo for facing Fealding now that triple Gäy wants a cherry pick all of the sudden it’s ok, already getting the excuses out because you know he is not facing Andrade Charlo or Derevyanchneko or anyone of notice.

***** intelligence can only go so far.

BJS fooked up when he literally said in an interview that ''nasal sprays'' were allowed out of competition.

He didn't realize that he used the Warren Promotions narrative of a ''nasal spray'' to justify Oxilofrine.

BJS could've just said that he was wrongfully accused because some Nasal Spray had elements that coincide with Oxilofrine and on the banned list, instead he doesn't realize that he's justifying Oxilofrine for out of competition use, but comically still uses the ''nasal spray'' x factor.

We all know BJS walks around 200lbs+. Is it cheating to use a PED to cut weight just 2-3 weeks away? BJS is getting old, and when you compete at the highest level draining all that water for a weigh in like a UFC fighter and miraculously having abs like never before, it's obvious he's on that shady tip like Galahad or Brook at the INgle Gym.

And come on man - most guys move up because they have trouble making the weight or they are looking for a new challenge. GGG has been a great pro at taking care of himself and pretty amazingly has just never grew out of the weight in his entire late amateur/pro career. So that was never an issue.

GGG's biggest money and legacy opportunities were always with guys slightly smaller than him. Pac May Cotto Canelo. He was always angling for one of those fights because they were legacy fights but also the big money fights. Staying put at 160 and waiting on Canelo or Cotto, or even staying put at 160 with the possibility of moving down for Pac or May just made sense.

And unfortunately at 168 there just wasn't really much there. GGG wanted to go up and fight Froch and Chavez at 168. Those were good business/exposure fights and the Froch fight would have been a legacy fight. GGG played his role as the B side but he was too risky for those guys and didn't bring much to the table so those never happened.

As far as Ward - I honestly can't believe people try and give GGG stick for the Ward stuff. Even Ward fans would acknowledge he is a diva in negotiations and Ward was basically always the clear B side in negotiations with GGG, yet acted like the A side. Expecting GGG or any other fighter to completely abandon any leverage they have just to fight a tough opponent, it's just silly.

Moving up in weight is not the sole criteria for judging greatness. He fought about 20 really good to great fighters in his career and as Abel just said, he never has been dominated in the ring. That in and of itself is a testament to his greatness. If he wasn't great Willie Monroe would have gone 12 rounds with him. Or Stevens would have dropped him. Or Lemieux. Or Rubio would have frustrated him and lasted 12 rounds.

I respect GGG because he never had a hiccup. He always did what you expected and more. I have followed boxing fairly closely for the past 10 years and I can remember the vibe going into most of GGG's fights. Almost always, the Jacobs Brook and Wade fights were somewhat notable exceptions, his detractors would start hyping up the other guy and saying that guy would beat him. Then GGG would dominate and people would say that guy ******. Rinse/repeat. When a guy handles his business that many time against good to great opposition, all different types of fighters too, I have to tip my hat to him.
And you write this with a straight face? There is no end of excuses for ggg you a straight up poser fan girl.

so mayweather made all of his money because he was mostly loved?? How about McGregor? Shut up, you're sounding more and more like an illogical cheerleader each time you post. You've tried to take this debate in so many different directions and have been sonned each time. Take the L.

nope, you tried to make a point and got made to look foolish. You tried to criticize ggg for saying that he wanted to fight the best and not just people with the belts. I clearly explained how many of the top fighters at mw don't have belts. You drug Canelos name into your argument (because you love him so much) and got made to look even more foolish when I pointed out that several of his so called title fights/wins were complete scams and not against the best in that division. That's the difference between us, as a boxing fan, I criticize what should be criticized regardless of who the boxer is. You critique who you don't like and defend anything that Canelo does even if it's a blatant cherry pick, duck or ped use. Then you tried to argue that, "love of a boxer" is what gets them big money deals. Then I showed you how some of the most hated figures in boxing have been the ones who generated the most money. Stop projecting your Canelo love onto others. Groupies live him, real fans, not as much.

the only thing ****** is thinking you were capable of actually understand logic. I should've known better as you have proven to be a brain dead, inbred, groupie fan time and time again. When he was champ, he tried to unify, wasn't able to thanks to politics and questionable scoring, now to finish his career he just wants to fight the best fighters available (based on what he's saying). How are you incapable of understanding that? Quite pathetic.
