Thermos isn't steady enough to beat Pac. Even a somewhat faded Manny will be too much, kind of like how he was too much for Bradley. And Spence would trouble him equally if not more. I can see Keef doing well vs Danny or Porter, or other similar fighters in the division, but I simply don't see Keef as a special fighter/world beater at this stage. He simply gets hit too much, and his activity level has been less since he started going after elites.... E.G. too careful.... maybe because he has to be extra careful.... as in weak chin, ribs etc.

I look forward to his next fight. We need to see if he has it at all still, but IMO Pac would be a bad choice all around for him.

I would be too... believe it or not, that 40 yr old is still the biggest name out there in the division. I’d rather have a Pac-Man under my resume than the other top ww’s. Better get pac now before he retires cause the others will be around.

Keith knows he's not getting past Crawford or Spence so it's only natural that he wants to fight a faded Pac. The fight makes no sense for Pac as Thurman isn't much of a name anymore, but is still a big risk.

He'll fight Pac and then Lord that over Spence and Crawford. "I beat a legend like Pac, what have you done to deserve a fight with Keith One Time Thurman?"

"Okay, you best a 4 division champ in Mikey, but I beat an eight division champ. You ain't on my level kid"

I can totally see Thurman saying shieet like this to avoid Spence and Crawford. I absolutely DO NOT want Thurman to get the Pac fight.

Spence must get Pac if he demolishes Mikey, and then Keith can get his rematch with Porter. Winners fight each other.

I agree. I said the exact same thing. Back at the WBC convention, if Porter really wanted to unify the titles with Eroll Spence Jr, then Mauricio Sulaiman would have granted and acquiesced his request.

However, no he was very silent and mum throughout the entire convention about fighting Erroll because he was afraid.

He didn't want no smoke from Erroll Spence then. That's why the WBC made Keith Thurman their mandatory WBC Emeritus champion.

Now many of Shawn Porter's apologists are saying that the reason why the fight didn't happen because Haymon wanted the Garcia/Spence fight which is a bunch of hogwash.

Since when does a voluntary defense trumps a unification or an undisputed bout?

Porter fans and Spence haters using the Mikey bout to justify the Porter duck.

I remember Porter saying that "if the Spence fight don't happen, it either of our fault, it looks like the wbc has other plans"

And then a few days after that the wbc prez slapped Porter on the mouth and came out at an interview and said they would definitely order the fight if a request for a unification was made by the champion"

Porter went into hiding after that until after the convention.
