Keith is trying to cash out before he fights Porter. The WBC has already ruled that Thurman was the mandatory challenger for Porter's next title defense.

So let the winner of Porter/Thurman fight the winner of Pac/Spence. Porter wants Spence while both Thurman and Spence wants Manny.

You are right because his handlers are already attempting to duck the Spence fight by suggesting that Pac should fight either Keith Thurman or Danny Garcia next. However, ultimately it's Manny's call. If it's Spence that he wants next then it's Spence who he will fight next because Manny wants the biggest and riskiest challengers out there. .

thurman aint going anywhere near a young top ww... this is why he's pushing for old man manny. but if pac cant get spence then this would be the next best fight available. manny shouldnt go for guys like mikey g (unless he beat spence), danny g and porter. these are fighters pac shouldnt even waste his time on because these guys does nothing for him at this point. fight thurman or spence and call it a day!

Thurman doesnt have it anymore. You cant take off 2 years from this sport and hope to get back to where you were at as your transition into your 30s. Hurt elbow, hurt hand??? Sounding like Rigo after Loma.

He was nearly KTFO against a legitimate career journeyman..and this is like the 3rd or 4th time it's happened in his career (happened also against Collazo, another career journeyman).

By fighting Manny Thurman can maximize his return in what is almost definitely a loss AND, being that Manny is older and Keith still has his legs, probably a low punishment loss.

Spence and Terrence stop Keith and with Spence it could be career changing.

I just ignore Keith and MMAPorter because both guys are absolutely irrelevant. Beating them will not really add to legacy because they themselves aren't anything special. Their resumes (Danny, Keith, MMAPorter) consist of fighting each other and journeyman. Its pathetic and nobody will remember them in 5 years time as I suspect all three will either be retired or be journeymen themselves

Porter talks like he wants Spence NOW, but a few months ago he was saying "I cant fight Spence bc I'm not ranked by ibf". Literally justifying his own duck bc of some alphabet ranking.
