    What Mikey Garcia is Missing?

You got to have something other than good fundamentals to move up and beat a fighter like Spence. There got to be, in my opinion, some kind of freakish ability you have that your opponent doesn't.....lightening foot speed (Pacquiao), freakish left hook (Trinidad), fast hands/combos (SRL), powerful right hand (Hearns), relentless pressure (Duran, Chavez), adjustments and defensive mastery (Mayweather), old man strength (Hopkins), superior athletic ability (Roy Jones), charisma (De La Hoya)...

Mikey is not exceptional in any of these categories!!!! I am a boxing fan and I don't see what his strategy could possibly be, challenging Spence, imo, will be an epic fail for Mikey Garcia!

    Hope he gets paid well.

I agree. Mikey would have a much better chance if he had one of the attributes you mentioned. Especially speed.

He's superior to Spence in many ways. He's missing 15lbs of lean muscle though. Your assessment misses the whole point of why Mikey will lose. It's not that he needs to be freakish to beat people, it's that he's massively out sized.

And what exactly is Mikey going to do about the body punches Spence will unleash into his ribs?

Size is not Mikey's only disadvantage. Here's many more... Spence is a Southpaw, excellent at cutting off the ring, an accurate puncher, an excellent body puncher, Spence is younger, more athletic, stronger, in his prime, undefeated, confident, not fighting at a catch-weight. Spence has a six pack, Mikey has a no pack!

Southpaw is an "advantage" now? Lol. If only boxers knew!!

Mikey has fought nothing but orthodox fighters in recent years, and yes a Southpaw style is an advantage when you haven't faced many lefties

Your post is reflective of someone who spends too much time reading ***** on the internet. Why does Garcia have to be an all time great to beat Spence?

What makes a pro in almost any fashion is the fact that he everything very well. Styles also make fights. Spence is a good fighter but it wouldn't be some monumental upset if Garcia were to win.
