I agree. Its a step in the right direction but not the step I would want. The problem is that the talent gap between the top guys (GGG, Jacobs, Canelo, Charlo and Andrade) and everyone else is massive.
agreed that the talent gap between that group and the rest seems big...at least its perceived that way...although ive seen boo boo look way less impressive than I was expecting against someone like culcay...although I know most chalk that up to inactivity

ill give Andrade one more fight...but after the next one if its not a top level guy I'm probably going to give up on him...and as ive mentioned before that would pain me...ive been following him since he was a kid and rooting for him....but hes wasted his career away and I don't have time to watch him against more C level guys(not saying sulecki is that...he might be better than that)

CANELO fought on GGG's terms in both fight's.
CANELO met all of the many ridiculous pampered & protected , entitled diva's demands , just to make the fight for the fans.

GGG has to fight CANELO on his terms now.

CANELO's 1st priority should be to become Undisputed at Middleweight , by capturing all the belts. Then fight GGG at 168 pounds with no belts on the line in Mexico. Train in the Mexican mountains at high altitude and go for the KO , come out to seek & destroy Golovkin and end GGG's career with a highlight reel KO victory in Mexico.

thats why ggg has now yet again backtracked on his every word by announcing that he will continue ducking non ginger champs/top fighters,& will continue koing cans like the good ol days when you diehards claimed he was invincible.

lets review gggs career: he got a gift W vs Jacobs(rightfully a draw at best),where the judges were all the ones who had judged several ggg fights in his favor(the same ones ggg had in his corner both canelo fights & 1 was the only 1 who gave ggg the win 1st fight)

Then afterwards ggg held a press conference to announce hes ducking Jacobs rematch 4 life(he only fought him after he was mandated to fight jacobs by ibf & he delayed it a yr over like 200k$)
I stopped reading your post after the first few words as I concluded it was unlikely to meet the minimum intellectual standard warranting further read. Not to mention response

I'm going to give him a bit more leash. It takes two to tango. The Canelo fight would be GGG's second fight in the year and his contract calls for 2 fights a year. So win or lose he wouldn't be fighting Boo Boo until next year at the earliest. Canelo won't want anything to do with Boo Boo if he loses and if he wins he'll probably want a soft touch after fighting GGG and Jacobs in consecutive fights. Jacobs would be similar but with the added complication of the mutual respect both guys have for each other. Add in a sprinkle of his promoter's recent history of failing to get his guys the fights they want (Joshua fight for Dillian Whyte and the Amir Khan fight for Kell Brook) and I am willing to give Andrade more leeway. I don't want him to be inactive waiting for the big fight to happen. Plus it would allow him at least one more fight after the June fight to strengthen his middleweight resume.

I know one thing if GGG doesn't sell out by going to the body he would not win this fight. He has go to Canelo's body and hit him there very frequently and often.

Canelo's upper body movement defense is just too slippery and slick in order for GGG to just try to go head hunting. Or attempt to knock him out with head shots.

He just needs to make contact to the body; The hips, cup, belt line or anywhere. Just so long he is making contact to his body.

That's exactly what I wanted him to do the first several rounds in the 2nd fight, hit him anywhere he could. If he upped his body attack to anywhere near what it used to be, it would make it so much easier for himself. His body punches used to be so devastating. The ones he did throw in the 2nd fight were good, just not often enough. There was one in the 8th round that actually moved Canelo. I hope the loss helps them with future fights.

I exactly agree! The body punching will help wear Canelo down eventually. That's where GGG needs to target. He just may even hurt in the body. The body punching is the key to any Golovkin win. If he targets the solar plexes and ribcage he will knock Canelo out.

There were so many openings to the body, especially the liver side, but Gennady opted to use that little chopping left hook to the top of the head instead. For whatever reason they've chosen to become headhunters when his whole offense for years revolved around a coordinated body attack. They better realize that from here on out.

i want to see golovking v charlo and someone else good, not really that bothered by another canelo matchup, they did it twice and most likely it only gets worse for golovkin as he basically pretty old now, his time is most likely over i would say
