However, over time he grinds you down man because he is a relentless body puncher. Mikey better play keep away for entire the night because if he slows down and gasses then Spence is going to chew him up like Pacman.

Always takes a few rounds for the bigger fighter to adjust to the smaller fighter's speed and technique

That's what I'm saying. Question is how many? And we know Mikey is working with Conte, how does that play in?

As I said, if you can't land but you're getting landed on at will, you're getting outboxed. See Fury/Wilder rounds 1-8.

I already made the point : Algieri has heart, tough to get out of there. So five rounds with Spence is a good measure for what is likely to happen with Mikey.
Here's the thing: Canelo wasn't even trying to box. He came out extra aggressive, he was swinging for the fences because he knew it was only a matter of time before he knocked Khan out cold. Saying Khan was "out boxing" him is meaningless. And even then I disagree with the notion that Canelo was losing that fight. Those welts, cuts, and bruises on Amir's body when they stopped the match? Those were from Canelo punching him in the ribs. Khan was one-dimensional. Canelo figured him out early and was able to land power punches to Khan's body often.

I suspect something similar will happen in Spence/Mikey. I think Spence is going to be aiming for the KO. It won't matter that Mikey won some rounds early when Spence knocks him unconscious

spence's boxing ability is completely overrated. only reason he wins his fights is because he is so much bigger and stronger. that's it. i expect mikey to outbox spence before spence's steroid punches become to much for mikey to handle.
