Marinate BS, it's called marketing to an American audience. According to Shelly Finkle Bob wanted both fighters to do an interim showcase (easy work) for 4 million apiece before facing one another for more than either could possibly make anywhere else. Those are the facts, like it or not.
Neither Showtime of Fox are willing to pay the kind of numbers Bob is offering. Also a fact, like it or not.Comment

It's called hedging your bet! You tell Fighter A if they beat Fighter C (and you own Fighter C) they get to face Fighter B (who you also own). You get to make money off Fighter A twice, just in case he beats your guys! Win or lose, you make money! Same thing Bob did with Prograis, just to protect Ramirez!Comment

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum believes Al Haymon, who created the Premier Boxing Champions banner, has no interest in making fights with other promoters. Haymon and Arum have been at odds for a very long time and rarely come together to make big fights. Their respective companies have exclusive content deals with rival networks. Haymon has deals with Showtime and FOX Sports, while Arum's company is aligned with ESPN.

Great point! I was thinking about Arum's statement of Haymon being scared! If Arum wasn't scared, he wouldn't require multi-fight deals! Why couldn't Prograis fight Ramirez? Why does Wilder have to fight on ESPN+ first, then Fury?Comment

At this point I don’t care who isnin the wrong or to blame. Arum is right, there are big fights to be made in all 3 networks, ppv, and streaming. Arum and top rank are growing and haymon WILL have to work with other outfits or end up being a victim of his own isolation.
Arum is the one isolating his fighters from Haymon. All you have to do is look at the Floyd/Pac situation and most recently look at the Wilder vs Fury rematch situation. The fight was ready to go, everything was agreed to. And then Arum came into the picture almost literally said: "My way or the high way" and "we don't have to fight Wilder next" and all that bullshieet that made you realise instantly that Arum had no intention of making the rematch and at the very least had no intention of being reasonable in negotiations.Comment

To be fair, Al Haymon won't risk his fighters in there own stable. Porter just fought some bum that almost beat him, Leo Santa Cruz has been bringing up bums in weight to best them. Same thing with Tank Davis, brings up bums from lower weight classes.
Haymon will not risk.Comment

At this point I’m convinced that Bob will outlive us all and he knows it which is why he isn’t worried about fûçking up big fights as long as he meets his quota and get his great great great great great great great grandkids paid!
Dude fûçked up 2 fights within a couple of months
Wilder vs Fury 2
Andrade vs Sanders(not the first go around but they recently were set to fight again)Comment
