Eddie Hearn sat with Kuggan Cassius from IFL TV, and basically detailed the whole thing (Wilder sending whatever you want to call what he sent, Hearn being unsure if it was legit, calling Haymon to confirm the offer, having a bunch of preliminary questions answered, and then presenting the two options to AJ for Joshua to decide which should be pursued further).

I think the only way Charlo gets the Canelo fight in September is if Charlo was to sign with DAZN... To be honest I don't think it's a bad move if Charlo went to DAZN... He would get paid well and he would have opportunities to fight other top fighter's and fight for the belts...
But if he doesn't sign with DAZN I think Canelo will fight Triple g again if he gets past Jacobs which that isn't a guaranteed.... It sounds like the people running DAZN want the Canelo-Triple g trilogy in September so that's what I see happening unless Charlo decides to sign with DAZN. Either way I don't see that fat fucc Suleiman stripping Canelo of the belt. Charlo doesn't need to sign anything, because he's been positioned to not have to sign anything; he's got 25% of a Canelo bid (US TV, Mexican TV, live event, etc and you're easily talking about $50m+ for Alvarez-Charlo; Charlo's piece on that would be $12.5m, so let's call it $15m to get him not to bother with a bid).

The play would seem to be WBC elevates Alvarez to Emeritus champion, Jermall Charlo gets elevated to full WBC champion and goes about his business, Canelo works through his fights on DAZN (Golovkin3, Andrade, the IBF mandatory if it's marketable) before then looking to make the Charlo deal.

Meanwhile Charlo has his June fight on FOX (hopefully wins it), gets elevated to full champion, has his first defense in the Fall on FOX, possibly has a late Winter fight on FOX, and then likely has
Jarrett Hurd for the Spring (Hurd /Harrison/Charlo are basically in a box off that should clear up in short order) on FOX PPV.

I don't see that happening! No way the WBC makes Canelo Emeritus champion so that Charlo can fight for the real WBC belt! That just ain't happening!
They'll make Charlo wait for years to get his WBC title shot the way they made Eleider Alvarez wait to get his title shot against Adonis Stevenson and at the end we all know how that went down... Eleider decided to go another route and went for the WBO title against Sergei Kovolav.

We are talking about the WBC here not the IBF. We will be having this same discussion in 18 months and Charlo is 6 months into his Dazn contract because he was fed up waiting
