Yeah, but your analogy is wrong.

I watched the Pac - Broner fight and Pac was missing a lot of punches, but he was more active, throwing a lot more punches and landing enough to win the fight round by round.

He beat Broner easy; because Broner did absolutely nothing. Broner wasn't throwing punches and he wasn't landing punches. So, how do you expect to win a fight like that?

Porter wasn't as active throwing punches like he was in previous fights. In fact, he was very conservative with his punches, and if he threw more punches I don't think that would have mattered. Ugas controlled the distance and his timing was great.

On top of that, Porter missed a lot of punches. He's lucky if he landed 50 punches, I don't care what CompuBox says.

I agree! Old School! You have to BEAT the champ, not just COMPETE with the champ! You go in to TAKE his belt, not hope the judges GIVE you his belt! I didn't like Porter's demeanor, but it was up to Ugas to take the fight to him!

            2) two he is on some heavy uncle tom ****
3)or porters dad has lost all sense of his manhood and is willing to swing in sulimans balls until kingdom come, so long as his boy gets these close nods..
Might sound crazy..but hey I have been called worse on here..
IMO, Porter is not a "bum". He is a quality boxer that is a tough fight for anyone. To me a guy has to be really bad to call him a bum. I hate watching Porter, new style or not, but he always brings his best. Coming close to Thurman and Brook, edging Garcia must make him above "bum" status.

Ugas did the neccessary to win the fight and he won. He don't needed to do more because he won. He was robbed. The one who needed to do more was Porter. HE was backing all the time. He lost his ADN with Ugas. HE was different, backing, not aggressive. Ugas did the neccesary to win. He was robbed. Only the rules of this sport and the judges has to do more and improve to avoid injustices like this one. In front of the objetive people Ugas won and is not a favor to Porter. His name is disrespectful for everyone and everybody in the future will tell him that he lost. Is not the same when the fight is close and anyone of the fighter can win. He lost. Periot.

I use to be one of Porter's fans...
I also thought Ugas won this fight... But I guess Cubans aren't "loved" in the U.S.

In short: Ugas doesn't get any rematch here...
