Ugas at times looked lost. He was fighting Porter's fight. Close fight and by no means a robbery.

I think like Garcia they were expecting Porter to come rushing in

Ugas isn't getting a rematch. Korobov didn't get one either. I thought they both won clearly.

Of course Jermell is probably getting an immediate rematch against Harrison even though he lost that fight fair and square. Sadly rematches are not based on merit but rather on popularity.

If you're the challenger, you can't afford to be complacent,
you can't just pose, wait and counter, especially when the belt-holder
              plays the same game.
Pauli Malignaggi, who is a huge Pac hater, was appreciating Pac's offense even if he wasn't landing in the Broner fight, "It doesn't matter, the judges see the effort," something to that effect.
Ugas was behaving as if he's the champ to beat.

Let me say it again. CLEAR SLIP.

Watch Porter's back foot at .25 speed here: https://********/-k7NCtz4Jwc?t=17

There's no doubt his back toe makes contact with the mat to plant and then slides out from under him. That was after the "punch" and that's a slip, folks.

This fight was a robbery and a I’m not being hyperbolic.

To me Porter won 3 rounds and I gave him the benefit of the doubt in one those rounds that was very close. So imo he won 2 clear rounds and that’s it.

I don’t get when people say the fight was close. If Ugas name was Mayweather everybody and their grandma would be saying Mayweather took Porter to school, and rightfully so.

Porter did absolutely nothing. If he landed 60 punches throughout the entire fight, I’m being generous. So, the fact that compubox had Porter landing like a total 150 punches (more than Ugas) it’s bull*****.

But because Ugas is an unknown cuban, everybody is like who cares about that mother****er. Now he misses the opportunity to get bigger fights and better paychecks.

I understand when people say Ugas should’ve done a lil bit more and throw more punches because in moments throughout the fight he was in perfect position to land more clean punches. But, he controlled the distance, landed a lot of more punches, and boxed beautifully.

Like I said, Mayweather won a lot of fights just by controlling the distance and landing enough punches round by round, and that’s exactly what Ugas did.

This is why a barely watch boxing anymore, boxers that deserved a well earned victory don't get the decision, and on top of that the commentators kissing the a$$ of one fighter while ignoring the work of the other fighter, pisses the hell out of me.

I didn't watch the fight closely enough to score it but Porter looked like he was just trying to survive. Had Ugas been more aggressive, he might've gotten the decision in his favor.

I agree with you, and the same could be said about the Fury - Wilder fight.

Fury clearly won that fight. He only lost the 2 knockdown rounds and in that last round he dominated Wilder after he got knocked down so you could say that round was 9-9 but I won't go that far.
