I'm still saying that Bivol will be the strongest and most talented fighter that Mundo has fought though.
Purposely misconstruing another poster's words is one of the lowest forms of intellect around here Rexy. I'm finding my witty comments are falling on deaf ears more and more as time goes by. Bivol beats Callum Smith. You guys got to see Smith vs Skoglund and rewatch Groves vs Smith. He had major problems with Skoglund jab, Bivols jab is better. Bivol would outbox Smith like Groves did early, but he won't get caught and knocked out like Groves did.

Groves didn't outbox Smith early. The judges had it even after 6 rounds, but Groves never looked comfortable and was wobbled a couple of times before getting KO'd

Yeah that's true but Groves was outboxing him imo, I had him up 4-2 if I remember. His lateral movement and Jab made Callum lose some rounds. Bivol is an even better boxer than Groves imo and he is bigger and hits harder. Can't see Callum Smith KO'ing Bivol or outboxing him. I got Bivol, but it's a great fight.

I thought Smith was outboxing Groves because he was the one controlling the distance, holding the centre of the ring and landing the Harder shots.

I don't know if he could beat Bivol, but it would be a competitive fight, imo. Depends what weight they fought at too. Bivol could be weaker at 168 and Smith might turn out to be a monster at 175 with a bit more weight and muscle on his frame.

From looking at the two of them, I’d be surprised if Bivol had more trouble making 168 than Mundo does. Bivol was sipping water at the weigh in before he stepped on the scale lol.

Also, I don’t know how he hasn’t even had one fight at 175.

My thinking is that there must be a reason why Bivol is fighting at 175, rather than 168.

175 is a nightmare of a division, and was even more so when Bivol took the decision to campaign there. Packed with scary monsters, but without any cash cows.

well, I always just assumed it was because 175 is a glamor division.

168 is huge in the UK (where you're from) but in all honesty, it's nothing on this side of the world. No scary monsters OR cash cows. 175, hot or not will get him worldwide exposure.

Bivol should stay in his current division, there are a lot better opponents for him to fight. If he drops down and fights Smith and beats him...Then what?
