Will AJ/Wilder fight do more PPV numbers than May/Pac??

Can this hw clash of the titans break may/pac record? the biggest hw fight in number of years and it involves an American and is for all the belts.

Plus the press conferences are going to be INSANE! Plus by the time the fight comes, AJ will be a lot bigger in the USA and so will wilder probably.

Plus it’s two heavy hitters, you know someone is getting knocked out and you know the fight won’t be boring.

Any chance of it breaking the record

No. Those guys had huge casual bases, Pac man had a huge following of Philippinos, both the diehard boxing fans, but also just proud Philippinos. Ditto May with his fanbase of die hard boxing fans along with his casual followers.

I don't think that either guys have a big casual base like the first two.

I would be surprised if it even did 1 million buys.

No lol. I think people are really overestimating this fight. Yes it has gathered a lot of hype over the last 8 months but it would be no where near what May/Pac generated.

The May-Pac record will never be broken. I don't think PPV will even be around in a decade or two.
