I'll admit it, I am the one Shawn Porter fan. I get it he smothers his punches, bull-rushes, and doesnt fit within a traditional style that purists can point to and recognize.

But I like his come forward spirit in the ring, I like his unique style (or lack thereof if that makes you feel better) and it intrigues me to see how it plays out with his opponents in the ring.

If he headbutts, clinches too much, or anything of that nature he should be penalized by the ref. In lieu of that though he probably will continue to do what he does, and I enjoy seeing him in the ring.

I completely agree. So many divas that are boxing fans have no idea what it takes to actually be in a fight let alone at this level. History is LOADED with guys like Porter. CHAMPIONS. Don't forget Porter fought as a JMW and MW.. Of course ****** casuals wouldn't know that. He's short for any of those weight classes and his style WINS FIGHTS. Just ask Thurman why he doesn't want that again. Awkward and strong. Qwawi, Frazier, Antuofermo Tyson and many more fought with this style.
