Because no mention of his cards being on DAZN just 2 of Gennadys Promotional Co. being on DAZN
Although last I heard Tommy L was suggesting their contract was still valid.
I've been anticipating a lawsuit from one or both. This deal likely cements that happening soon actually come to think of it. So look for a Tommy L headline soon.

Only way is 'exhibition fights' vs other old-timers who need another paycheck and happy to sell a few more brain cells (funny how Amir Khan springs to mind.....).
As far as I can see its a tune up vs a scrub, then a final Canelo fight, then he sails off into the sunset after his first non-controversial loss.

Obvious choice for ggg. DAZN has all the middleweights. He really doesn't wanna end up like the Charlos.

Jacobs or Canelo will end him for real now. Andrade might give him some problems. Not sure what 3 other bums they can sc**** together.

This is a good deal for GGG. DAZN always made the most sense and Canelo is his biggest payday. The 6 fight deal is BS he is never making it that far and I doubt there is any guaranteed money beyond first 2-3 fights. After that his promotional deal kicks in year 2 and 3 where he will be purely a promoter with 2 cards a year.
He's going to get a good 10M payday to fight a bum in June and then has a promise of a big jump in pay if he fights Canelo. Once he is sacrificed to Canelo he will get a swan song fight that will be his Floyd/Berto moment.
