Nobody gives a **** about the seniors tour. I’m sure there’s some fanboys who can be convinced these guys can still compete at the top of the sport, but to most fans, they’re irrelevant.Comment

The guy hasn't fought in a real boxing match since 2015 and he's 42. I think it's safe to say he's retired, even if he's fighting exhibitions for money.
They need to let it go.Comment

I agree with you that's he's boring, but you've missed my point. Whatever you think of him personally, he does, in fact, remain the sport's most famous star. Casual fans the world over know who Floyd Mayweather is still. I would argue that with the advent of the internet and social media, Floyd was far more well-known than even Muhammad Ali was in his prime. Right now, at 42 years old, every single fighter from Flyweight to HW would drop what their doing, cancel their upcoming fights, drop their promoters, drop to their knees and beg on live TV for Floyd to fight them, IF Floyd even vaguely suggested that he was interested in such a fight. Of course, he is not though. He is too old to compete with the elite and he would never risk sullying his brand with an official loss to anyone. As I said, he's smart. He'll continue to make money off his name in as safe a manner as possible because he is still the biggest name in the entire sport. Not sure how you could argue against that fact, but go ahead.Last edited by NachoMan; 03-10-2019, 08:34 AM.Comment
