Surprised it’s a PPV, but then again I was really shocked that Broner/Pacquao was a PPV and apparently that had a good buy rate.

So who knows? Wilder’s name is hot right now.

Yeah, I was just thinking that. Tyson/McNeely was a PPV.

What do u want me to do with this ? This particular ppv is coming out of the beignet because of the massive overpay on a fight that probably does 100k Buys.

Haymon went to showtime to ask them to help cover this fight to keep wilder from going with fury and Whyte at espn.

200k buys at $75 per ppv nets them 7.5 mil in revenue. Take wilder at 12.5 and Breazeale probably at 3 mil and they are going to lose huge money.

Especially when u consider this will probably only sell around 100k ppvs

You have showtime sports top exec explaining to you showtime budget and ppv’s

Wilder being on ppv does nothing for showtime subscriptions so why would they take a loss specially when Wilder is not on long term contract with Showtime

Who knows, I have said this many times. They have no choice but to put this on PPV, with the monies generated by Fury and Joshua. Wilder would have no bargaining chip if this doesn’t go on PPV. They would come up with some imaginary numbers to make it look good to the public. Don’t be shocked if they say this sold 300k upwards. Moreover this is only way they can pay Wilder decently, and to be honest I really hope he gets paid that 12.5m with showtime, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s all for show.
