Yea one big thing Mikey is missing to take on a big,skilled killer in Spence is a special defense and faster feet.Now Mikey has great feet(distance,spacing)but there slow and the reason a fully prepared Thruman beats him all day also.Matter a fact that's the one thing I think Mikey see's he has fought some very good comp but one thing they ALL have in common is SLOW feet(as does Spence).I also see Mikey doing well early fighting smaller,quicker fighters can take a little getting used too but once Spence starts going downhill on him their will be a quick pull by Robert.Its the main reason im not really into fight(but ill watch of course)because I see Robert stepping in AS SOON as Spence starts touching him regular.Its a no lose for Mikey because no one will hold loss against him and if he does have ANY success his fans will blow it up.But if S Lippenets can hit him and move him(Mikey was feeling them shots) then how is he gonna take Spence's who is better in EVERY way over S Lippenets.

Given what Spence might take out of Mikey, I'd also probably favor Thurman. If Mikey can pull a miracle off and sleep Spence though I'd really like him against Thurman right now. I think Thurman right now isn't back to where he was when he fought Porter. His stamina was suspect against Lopez and Mikey is peaking right now.

If he beats Spence we all need to reevaluate Mikey's place in history that's how special a win would be.Quick list how many fighters beat a bigger, younger,stonger,harder hitting and maybe faster(not quicker being a 147 but maybe faster one punch) PFP type fighter??Duran vs SRL but it will take a bit to think of many more.But I just don't see it but I think I figured out what Mikey see's and that's Spence's slower feet Mikey has fought many top fighters but ALL have slow feet.Linares was fast footed and Mikey did not want him even though he would have been a favorite.Also Loma would have been at least as big as this But to be fair that could be Arum.And also Spence does not have an ELITE defense but I still just cant see it and think once Mikey starts getting touched up or hurt at all Robert will stop it.It why I KINDA feel it could be a bit of a rip off for fans(ill still buy it).But the more I think about it the longer I see Mikey giving him some probs as fighting a little quicker guy can take a bit getting used to and add in Mikey's skill and I could see this close to even after 6(up from 4 1 day or so ago lol).But besides size it will be Mikey's less then ELITE defense and slow(but great) feet will be his downfall.Thats my 2 cents anyway.

I think Mikey is better than Spence technically so he should win the early rounds until Spence gets going midway through the fight. I think Mikey’s power might not be enough to keep Spence off for more than a few rounds unless he is landing flush and avoiding spence’s return fire. That is a very tall task but achievable. Even with that, if he doesn’t hurt Spence I think Errol will get used to the power and walk through the way he did with brook. If he wasn’t so gritty I’d like Mikey’s chances a lot more. I actually think his power would be more discouraging to Thurman in a chess match.

Yeah the 3 league stuff is definitely killing the sport. DAZN's no PPV model will likely make it extremely difficult to get those cross league fights. ESPN Top Rank and PBC SHowtime/Fox seem to have the capability to work together if the pot is big enough. Maybe Porter will step up. It makes sense for him to do so. I thought he lost that Ugas fight and was lucky to get the decision. The Spence fight would be a big pay day if Pacman-Thurman mix it up as expected. Porter needs to step up or he will be left out and be taking a step back IMO.

Nice post I had Porter winning 7-5 but too close to argue either way imo.I still don't see Pac fighting Thurman unless they know something we don't like KT is damaged goods because of injury.Otherwise I see a Varges type fight or MAYBE D Garcia.

I definitely think the Lopez fight emboldened Pac-Man. I think they will go for it but if not then I agree it’ll be Danny. I think pacman might feel kt is not the same fighter he was a couple years ago and he will go for the glory. Danny is winnable but everyone that has beaten Danny has gone through a grueling fight to do so. Danny isn’t a feather fist. So in that sense they might even think the Thurman fight is a little less risky than one would suspect. Either fight is fine with me but I’d obviously prefer to see the legend try to rip away Thurman’s belt and undefeated record. This is the fight Thurman needs at this stage of his career too. It’s ppv worthy imo
