Comments Thread For: Wilder-Breazeale Mandatory Fight Formally Ordered By WBC

At some point, the World Boxing Council (WBC) will get a desired heavyweight title fight. Barely a week after plans for an ordered rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury were officially torched, the WBC has now summoned Wilder-its heavyweight champion-to next defend versus mandatory challenger Dominic Breazeale.

Wilder should have fought the 160th ranked Heavyweight Francisco Pianata and went the distance with him. I wouldn’t mind seeing him fight Shannon Briggs either. Lmao

Wilder has nowhere to run now. Tried to freeze out AJ (lol?) and now he's stuck with no opponents.

It's now official. I really hope Deontay Wilder does decide to defend his mandatory challenge of his WBC title against Dominic Breazeale on DAZN for $15mil.

look for wilder to get dropped in this fight. breazelle probably won't win, but he'll get a knockdown.
